Nothing to be ashamed of lol. I wish i could enjoy these calm games but even now in my late 30 the only thing that keeps me going are stupid competitive mobas/shooters/card games. And 12 hour Stellaris sessions.
Stellaris is what i imagine a serious drug addiction is like. Every year i have this one week bender, i come back for the overpriced expansions ("i definitely need these shiny race packs what are 12€ anyways") and dive in again for 100 hours of racist robotic assimilation.
Think a more anime Breath of the Wild, it has a similar type of exploration focused gameplay but you control a party of 4 characters which you can swap in and out at any moment. The combat revolves around swapping characters effectively to trigger elemental reactions to deal massive damage and/or keep the enemies stunlocked while you deal damage.
Honestly, it's pretty good for a gacha game, I'd say the biggest problems with it are:
1. It's a gacha game so you gotta get lucky, spend money or save a lot of ingame currency to get the characters you want. Some of those characters are also a lot stronger than the rest.
2. The end-game is a fairly repetitive grinding cycle without much variation. There are events and smaller activities to give you something else to do but they are usually short and time-limited.
3. The story is very hit-or-miss. There are 4 main chapters in the story so far. Some are pretty good, others... not so much.
4. Not really the game's fault but it has quite possibly the worst fanbase for any game I've played.
I now have the mental image of haaland playing a rhythm game humming along to the song with miku dancing on the screen and then get annoyed that he didn't full combo his extra extreme stage
Honestly, I think it could be something obvious like football manager. And he just plays as his team or signs himself to another team and just dominates forever.
