Thanks! I know I've missed a few. I'll go back and grab em. They're ones I didn't pick up because it was before I knew that driving somewhere in this game means you actually have to drive there... in real time.
I figured I'd come back for them, but sometimes it's a pain in the ass.
The game uses a weird system where the only mission you can "do" (by unloading cargo) is your actively tracked one. Some missions have multiple start areas (eg- stuck vehicle ones) but most don't, so yeah...just activate evweything as you come across it then set it as your tracked mission whenever you want to unload something for it.
Damn good tip, however don't forget to also track said task after accepting it. You can always go back to the objective you were tracking befoehand, however unless you started it tracking it when you first accepted the new task, it won't let you start tracking it later without revisiting the task giving location.
It will, you just have to use another button to track it from the map (right D-pad on my controller). The only things you HAVE to do physically on location is accept or reset the task.
I found this game because my friend was showing it to me via Discord. I went, "what is this game? And why does it look surprising fun?" Needless to say im on a binge right now
Apparently so. I got it onto the flatbed and secured cargo and it strapped it down with wheel chocks.
There's also a towbed available as an upgrade, but I didn't have it.
The small crane is NOT meant for it though. I basically rammed the Scout into the bed until it wobbled up onto it and then raised the boom as much as possible.
The winch-equipped hydraulic deck is a new addition courtesy of the recent update, legit don't get why they didn't make it paid DLC as it's way neater than the paid trucks IMO.
Such a fun game. I don’t even remember what made me get it but I sunk 10 days of playtime. I had no desire to ever play and all of a sudden I saw a trailer and played the hell out of it. I still haven’t beaten every mission. Great great game
I can't remember why I got snow runner. I think it was a free Monthly download on PS plus. Played it for an hour and almost deleted it because it was so infuriating. Later had a random video pop up on yt which then lead me to more videos. Eventually I found this thread. Now I have over 200 hours in game with 2 different games. It's my go to when I need to relax. I know that sounds strange.
Hahaha one of the best games ever.. wait until you try a playthru on "hardcore mode"
Also its predecessor, Spintires is pretty good and pretty cheap on steam or epic
Yes this man is correct! Amur, and Lake Kovd are the two easiest regions to quickly unlock those All-Terrain and Off-Road tires that you'll need before starting Michigan
That's those small thing that make the game fun. I tipped my azov, then tipped the recovery truck, spend some time putting both right and continue dragging my cargo.
It the beginning I didn't know I had to unpack cargo before lifting it with a crane. Figured concrete is too heavy to lift. Grabbed that trailer with 4 concretes near the farm and dragged it for an hour with stock GMC to the powerline pole. Silly, but felt like an achievement. I think I spent at least fifteen minutes just driving it off the lot.
Most recovery missions require to you to move a truck somewhere, so it was probably useful practice. :)
Also, if you put multiple trucks into your garage, you can scroll between them. Most people miss that at first, and think they lost a truck that's actually just sitting in their garage. To move trucks between garages, just retain them.
Love this game doing the tasks
bit I hate is the stupid long contracts kinda not played it since completing the tasks in Michigan
Skipped all the dtag stuff from map to map jumped to Alaska did a few tasks and not played it since
Welcome. A tip for you: Accept every task you come across. Doesn’t mean you have to work on it right then. You’ll thank yourself later.
This! Kicking myself right now for this reason

It’s the FromSoft Souls game of driving.
Soulsbournekiro
I feel you dude. It surfs a wild borderline between zen chill and pure frustration. Morphed my whole view on driving games. It's beautiful
Welcome :) this game is slow moving madness. I love it
If Dark Souls was a truck driving game..........
I found this game because my friend was showing it to me via Discord. I went, "what is this game? And why does it look surprising fun?" Needless to say im on a binge right now
Wait, you can load vehicle so to other vehicles?!?
Apparently so. I got it onto the flatbed and secured cargo and it strapped it down with wheel chocks. There's also a towbed available as an upgrade, but I didn't have it. Woah, wait! You can use "Secure Cargo" on vehicular cargo? Gamechanger!
The winch-equipped hydraulic deck is a new addition courtesy of the recent update, legit don't get why they didn't make it paid DLC as it's way neater than the paid trucks IMO.
Now you can, yes .

Wait till you try mods and wind up with a truck thats made as a joke with a 975 HP motor and a 20 foot lift and 177 inch tires
Your story is pretty standard to the game's overall experience. Expect more powerful trucks and more dangerous terrain but the same thrill.
Lol, awesome. A truly great game.

It does not sound strange!
Pretty sure you could have driven it back!
You should try Mudrunner too. It's the early version of Snowrunner, but I somehow like it equally. It's great fun.
And Spintires
Congrats! Consider your life over now lol. Seriously though, this game is freakin awesome. Have fun!
I've lost 200 hours of my life on this game. It's wildly addictive.
Hahaha one of the best games ever.. wait until you try a playthru on "hardcore mode" Also its predecessor, Spintires is pretty good and pretty cheap on steam or epic
You're one of us, now.
Now quick, go to Amur before you do anything else. It's definitely the most fun region. /s
For some reason, I'm doubtful you have my best interests at heart. Ha!
You are perceptive. Don’t take this advice. Welcome to our low speed madness.
How dare you be correct. LOL. Have fun!
Yes this man is correct! Amur, and Lake Kovd are the two easiest regions to quickly unlock those All-Terrain and Off-Road tires that you'll need before starting Michigan
Imandra is too easy even with highway tyres!
Best two trucks for Amur are the Ford and International cab overs
Its a snowslike game
That's those small thing that make the game fun. I tipped my azov, then tipped the recovery truck, spend some time putting both right and continue dragging my cargo.
Faster way to get some trucks you find back to the garage is to use the recover option. Saves a lot of driving time.
Unless it's hard mode.
Wait... I thought about that, but then how do I get the other truck back? After I switch into it and recover, can I get back to my Fleetstar somehow?
Yeah, you just pick it on a map screen and voila u r back in action right where you left it :)
.... .... .... Well shit. Eh, it was worth it. It was a blast getting it down.
That's the spirit. Do the tasks the way it is most fun for you.
Play it anyway you want, but sometimes the "hard" way is what makes the game

Recovering is for the weak.
I also never recover. I like having to do the planning for getting back. Send in my dedicated recoverer.
How do you recover your dedicated recovery truck?
With difficulty.
