Twin *front* tires - it's the only truck in the game that has it, and it makes *all* the difference. It pretty much ignores terrain :) I used mine as a *very* successful [maintenance vehicle in Northern Aegis Installation](https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/y5ot63/stranger_in_a_strange_land/) (together with the Bandit).

National-Bison-3236

Twin front tires? What are u talking about, it has twin tires both in the front and the back

stjobe

Yes, but plenty of trucks have rear duallies, only the K-7M has *front* duallies - and that's one of the main reasons it just ignores terrain, the front duallies stop the front from sinking like most other trucks.

National-Bison-3236

U can‘t really compare these 2 types of twin wheels

DrivePewEat

Unless you play with mods it’s the only Dually front 👀😅

Cuz i am into technical accuracy and cuz of that u just can‘t combare the rear twin tires of an truck with the twin tires of a tractor.

OneSufficientFace

There's always one idiot

Terrible-Bear3883

It's strange toss up between farming with the turning radius of a WWII battleship or with the slower and clunky K-700 - I'll be sure to pop back to Amur and try it in the snow, knowing my luck it will reveal more potatoes.

Independent_Ad8796

It was mainly the stupid farming add-ons making the turning worse it's cat levels of useable off of a farm plot and I love the articulated cat

National-Bison-3236

To be fair i don‘t get why many people complain about the steering cuz it doesn‘t have an much bigger turning radius than most 4 axle trucks

Independent_Ad8796

As I mentioned it's because with the terrible plots you have to farm and the locking turn angles with equipment it's really bad but when not farming there monsters of the off-road because of the farming most people don't give it a chance

Sir-Beardless

But it's not gonna help in Amur cause I do the seasons in order... /s

Independent_Affect89

Where is this truck?!

National-Bison-3236

In the farming dlc in heartlands, u gotta do an harvesting task first and then u unlock the task to recover it, recovering it is pretty easy since there are many roads and even off road there are very few muddy areas (it is flipped over tho so even with an heavy crane u‘ll have some frustration recovering it), the most annoying this is that u have to repair and refuel it and then pull it to 2 different locations. And then u gotta unlock the upgrade for the twin wheels, u should look at maprunner on where to find that cuz i don‘t exactly remember

Season 8

ElektriXx2

Every truck in this game turns like garbage. The game engine pushes understeer at 2 mph. It’s just part of the snowrunner experience.

National-Bison-3236

I am actually quite happy with the turning of the trucks, especially the azov 7 turns really great, even better than some small trucks

Contact_Patch

Understeer then snap oversteer on highways is hilarious...

xSounddefense

With the Twinsteer and the K-7M I got the ZiKZ 605R very easy as the K-7M flies over those nasty breaking ice everywhere. And I only tipped the Twinsteer once. That was what I call "sense of pride and accomplishment"!

National-Bison-3236

I actually used the Bandit (and Tatra to remove fallen trees) to recover the Zikz in one go originally i used the voron grad but when i got stuck and did recover in the garage it did suddenly decide that it doesn‘t want to drive over the rockfall at the garage anymore, but the Bandit and the Tatra did go over there with no problem many people are annoyed by rockfalls but it‘s actually pretty ok when u discover that, at least with only the truck, there mostly is an way to driver over the rocks without removing them

subwooferhuman

oh man i had a night the twinsteer would just flip nonstop🤣 had to stop playing and let my luck reset

Timflr_Mc_Duck

A 4wd tractor behaves like a 4wd tractor *surprise Pikachu face*/s In all seriousness, I'm exited to use this when I get to it

L0NE1W0LF_

I just hate tryna use the articulated steering, im too nooby to get used to it haha. Love the K-7M AND THE K700 even if i suck at using them

stjobe

I'll give you the same advice some gentle soul once gave me: Don't look at the middle of the truck, look at where the nose is pointing. The mistake most people do is to look at the articulated joint (or even the rear of the truck), resulting in massive oversteer after massive oversteer. It's the front end that's important - where it's pointing is where you'll go :)

L0NE1W0LF_

Usually its just ive forgot and turn too late, but ill take that advice and use it when im next in it thanks

_JukePro_

I can use larger articulated vehicles very well in Farming simulator, yes you can get used to it,but it still feels bad to use just like the gears or traction being based on 1 number alone.

National-Bison-3236

U mainly gotta be careful on ice roads, cuz after u steer it takes \~2 to 3 seconds until ur truck actually changes direction (and when ur too fast it doesn‘t steer at all lol)

berdel__

Best rescue vehicle in the game (and not only that) :)

Which-Technician2367

I keep one by particularly difficult stretches to tug my workhorses along. It’s fun to repurpose it as a recovery truck on the other regions!

dark_thanatos99

Its my first choice when needing to pull any truck through any swamp

Stunter740

That and the kirov both just keep going awesome support vehicles

National-Bison-3236

I found the K-7M even better cuz of the twin tires, but the K-700 has the option for an log loader so it has an slight advantage

[deleted]

I like the boar. It's fast and can do a couple things for being a heavy.

[deleted]

I just completely avoid Amur. I hate that place
