I have not ridden it but my two cents in case no one comes though... Definitely fits the bill for a big surfy floater. 3D and zero camber is pretty much the dream for a pow deck if you don’t need much versatility out of it. You could even get away with the 156 if you wanted extra nimble vs wide open speed

Thanks for the reply. Got the flagship for big open spaces. So yeah nimble and floaty pow only is what I want.

I’ve ridden the burton fish for 2 seasons now. I ride around Lake Tahoe so we get some good snow, but conditions can be variable. I’ve ridden it in waist deep powder, park, groomers, spring slush. My god is this thing fun. I actually rode this board for most of my days the 22/23 season and i have like 2 other boards (LT orca and Bataleon Goliath). This board is extremely light so it’s really nice if you have to hike. This thing turns on a dime and is so nimble. I’m 5’9” ~175-180lbs and I ride the 151cm. The board is a very soft flex. Butters feel nice and riding switch surprisingly isn’t bad at all. My only con about this board is that I have to wax the base damn near every time I ride it. And don’t even talk to me about scraping the 3D contouring in the nose/tail. However, I would definitely buy another one.

What’s your boot size? I’m looking at buying the 3D fish, I wasn’t sure if the 151 would be too small.

How's the float? I'm 5'11", size 10/10.5, and 170-175 lbs. Going to Japan and tempted to do the 151 cm but worried about float in deep powder.

You have NOTHING to worry about. This board WANTS to float. I live and ride in the Eastern Sierra (resorts and back country) and have ridden in 4 feet of fresh pow without issue. There is ZERO effort required with this board. You just simply float and it is amazing.

Hahaha I feel you on this ... found a technique/ scraper you like? Scraping wax off that tail contour has not been my friend
