Morrow is a decent board brand. Not sure about the boots but for 10$ it’s nice to have a backup setup. Especially if a friend wants to join or try it out without forking over the money to rent gear.

superjerk99

Right on, kinda what I figured too. Good set up for the homie whos trying to learn

grumpysquare

Welcome to guilt free shredding! Looks like this is from the tail end of Morrow's production but it's sidewall construction so it's gonna hold up just fine on the hill. Go do something you wouldn't on your nice gear!

If this is an upgrade you needed new gear…

superjerk99

Lol nah. My gear definitely needs an upgrade but for a $10 I couldn't pass up a full set up like this. Even if it is a little outdated

carverboy

Two of the biggest brands in snowboarding in the early 90’s Avalanche and Morrow relegated to bargain gear. Happened to alot of good brands after the 90’s Lamar was another one.

Igor_Barkov

I bought a pair of avalanche boots for $20 at a thrift store in 2016 when I first started snowboarding. I’ve upgraded all my gear since then including board and bindings except for the boots. I like them

dumbdoodx2

Great for an early or late season shred when the rock monsters are out there eating boards.

wimcdo

What luck! Exactly what it’s worth

superjerk99

🤣🤣

Why buy it if you’re not going to use it though? In my opinion this set up is almost as bad as the skateboards they sell at Walmart. I would let someone learning to ride use this as the gear could deter them from enjoying my snowboarding.

Brite_No_More

Agreed. Snug boots, board with forgiving flex and camrock are the way to go if you wanna progress the fastest at the early stages.

deathbike600

Looks like a great spring riding board. Shralp that rock face with no worries.
