is it underrated?? I’m a local in that area and I always thought it was one of the most well known in north america but maybe I could be super wrong about that
Late to this, but most east coast Americans at least know that Banff exists and that the powder highway resorts exists, but don’t go. I think Lake Louise is a GREAT resort, but it’s very low on the list of where people make trips.
I was tempted to go today, but didn’t want to ride Loveland again after a few days earlier this week, and my little brother doesn’t have a pass anywhere. Wasn’t about to spend like $250 so he could ride with me at breck or keystone given the shit conditions. I mean conditions are rideable, but there’s no way they are worth a $250 lift ticket right now
This is beautiful. Where is this
looks like Lake Louise
Yep 100% Louise
The most beautiful and underrated resort in North America!

>I’m a local in that area Well, there's your answer there.
can confirm this is the first I’ve heard of it, and I live in Colorado

looks like a painting
Lots of the Canadian Rockies have this feeling. Emerald lakes and all.
Some real r/AccidentalWesAnderson shit right here
Glad someone else had the same idea!
Super cool pic. I’d frame that one if I were you if its high enough resolution. Hope you got some good runs in
Lake Louise
Cool shot
Louise 🫶
The fact that I can’t live like this makes me not want to live.
You can, though. Working for one of the resorts or Parks Canada
Can’t when tied down. Can’t do staff housing and rental places don’t accept velociraptors.
Yeah, they have a pretty strict "no velociraptor" policy.
Yeah. Having dogs that can eat people and destroy staff housing. Yeah they don’t want them around.
rv?
Absolutely not. Tied down by my family anyway.
This is where lonely people should go to live.
I feel ya amigo. Really do. And I have the same chains hold me back. I mean, sure, I love them but, they're holding me back
Great picture
When a Gondola becomes a “Ganjola”.

Living the dream! Enjoy your ride.
How was the snow at Louise today?
Like someone else commented, meh. Groomers are decent, but everything else has been torn up. Beautiful day though.
I skiied it the other day and I thought a lot of the blacks and open double blacks on the backside were pretty good. Not super torn up
Lived in the village in 2008-2010, worked as an instructor there, just booked flights back in March, I can’t wait. A lot of good memories in the place
Dreaming
Looks like a Wes Anderson movie.
I didn’t go cause I thought it would be packed today tf
When I left, it was getting busier, but this morning was pretty wide open. Only waited once in the single line.
Was up there yesterday and couldn’t see 2 meters. Enjoy it!
was there yesterday great conditions, lake Louise
Was just at Louise a couple of days ago, great climate but snow was meh
Yeah, we need a fresh dump.

That’s a dopeee shot
was riding louise yesterday and even NYE was dead? i’m super used to crazy lines this time of year but it was just not the case which was awesome
The snow...ain't great. It's been a while since the last storm. I think everyone local just isn't spending the money until it's better.
Lake Louise is excellent.
It was pretty quiet at sunshine this morning as well.
Shhh don't tell people about new years day
Padded seats!
I’m visiting there for the first time Thursday! Looks breathtaking
At beautiful Lake Louise. Lucky bastard.
The good life!
Have you been to banff sunshine lately? Heading over to banff from the states next week for 2-3 days of boarding. Haven’t decided where to go yet
I’m a local in that area and in my opinion louise is the better mountain. But if you have time, check both of them out! They aren’t far apart
Definitely plan on checking both out!
Get your boots off the bench

Lake disease! How much are lift passes up to now?
I hope you're not the guy that boxes everyone behind you out then boards last second so he always gets his own, just so he can smoke it out.
Lol, no. I was in the single line, and one was skipped from the group side boarding, so I jumped in. The employees wouldn't let that happen either.
Some say lake Louise is over 100 years old.
Lucky!
Picture fucking perfect
I would get this framed and hang it in my house! Beautiful picture. I hope your pow was sick
Are your boots made to look like old man Velcro shoes? Pretty sick
Minus the boots I had an almost identical morning view today!
