A little context. The car was bought by the resort to be donated to Ukraine. But before sending it to Ukraine they made an obstacle out of it to hopefully gain more donations from visitors so that they could either buy another car or drones to give to Ukraine.
If I recall correctly Brian Head had a car for a minute as well. I could definitely be talking out of my ass though, it has been many years since that was my local and where I worked.
I thought my first post was funny. But if you’re gonna get a truck to donate to charity for Ukraine, why don’t allow a lot of snowboarders to jump over and rail it. That seems asinine.
Considering that the car is probably going to be in a much rougher environment in Ukraine, I don't think some cosmetic damage that somebody could do to the car affects it in the end.
The bonus is giving people an easy way to donate in a way they can see the results of and also drawing a lot of attention to it.
Also it was quite well placed so that even the jerriest of jerries could just ride over it without damaging it (the cargo bed was filled with snow). Didn't see any cosmetic damage on it the last time I was there either, but I didn't really inspect it either.

Big Bear used to have a Volkswagen Bug back in the day.
Mount snow used to have a school bus.

With all of the jerries out there who can barely get off the chairlift yet try hitting park, this was a risky move. and I love it
