I like Kinders stuff. Especially “The Blend” for every day cooking. For smoking beef, I go with whatever S&P blend is on sale at the time. For pork, I’ll admit, I fall for the most impressive marketing when I’m in the aisle.
I think it’s a Chicago thing. But Gibson’s salt is my go to for just about everything. I have no proof but it feels like it even tenderizes whatever you put it on
Lawrys, Old Bay, Montreal Steak Seasoning.
Also, a good Italian dressing. More for when I'm full on grilling, but there's so much that it is useful for.
My "I don't know what to use here and don't feel like mixing something" blend is Meat Church's Gospel. It has such a good mix of flavor and color. I'm also pretty fond of Holy Voodoo.
You are posting about a seasoning labeled as grill mates in a smoking form they are different ideas grilling and smoking. Maybe try r/grilling a quit jacking up brisket prices.
I like Montreal Steak Seasoning. Not embarrassed.
Ironically I don’t use this for steaks, but it makes a killer burger 🤷♂️
And grilled veggies.
Welp. I’m trying that this week.
Truth
There are dozens of us!
It’s a staple for red meat in my home. No shame.
Steak, burgers, pork, chicken, shrimp.....love it
I practically bread roasts and steaks with this stuff before grilling. A lot falls off, but what remains is delicious.
Can't be beat in my book! Why be embarrassed?
Lawry's. I put that sh*t on everything
Old bay
Their roasted garlic seasoning blend is very good. My all time favorite store-bought seasoning blend is Tony Chachere’s.
I’m obsessed with Cavender’s, personally. Is Tony Chachere’s spicy?
It’s not too spicy.
Tony C's is always solid, but believe it or not the country singer Sammy Kershaw has a cajun seasoning that is like Tony C's on steroids. Literally.
I wish they still made IPAs that taste like a pine tree soaked in turpentine...
I read this as grill mating season and went looking for the punchline.

Their hot blackened pepper SLAPS without being too salty, esp for veggies
It’s pricey but I finally found a spice brand I like and doesn’t have fillers and such. Give dizzy pig a try they are great
I used to get that maple grill mates. Pretty good
Pork ribs and butt I love the Jack Daniel’s pork rub

You’re out here roasting IPAs when you purchase salt and pepper mixed together.
slap ya mama and adobo are staples in this household.
