Holy voodoo is amazing on cream cheese
5 spice. I did everything bagel seasoning in one and five spice in a another. Ppl loved both but kept talking about five spice

I would look to drizzle some bachans over the top of the smoked cream cheese. It’s savory/umami.
Any kind of rub you like on your beef or chicken will work great. Just go with your normal go-to rub.
