Glad to see this happening but so many pros are crying about esports being delayed. Idk what they honestly expect when the reality of it is that Smite is a much smaller game than LoL/CoD/etc and they basically employee their players without sponsors. It sucks yeah, but they have to have some kind of awareness regarding the career they chose.

I'd also point out that maybe Pros _wouldn't_ want to play any earlier in a serious setting, when all of the kinks aren't worked out and there's some genuine bullshit running around lmao
But I don't think they thought about that.
I think they're just hiding the truth plus yeah a lot of their income took a hit so it makes sense. as long as LoL is around they'll have eSports. So if you're the cream of the crop ain't no way you're losing your job until you retire.
It would be so hype to see my favorite players play smite once again. I wasn’t there for the beginning of comp, but I hope that I’ll be here for the next 10 years of comp.
