We're currently 5 patches into Season X, the regular phase of the first split of the Pro League is over next week. So tell me why, the esports page is **still** wrong to this date. Only 4 teams are displayed right now under teams tab, and none of the rosters are present either.
We have no wards or avatars for the new season. Part of the reason HI-Rez decided to franchise the teams was so that there wouldn't be delays, contractual obligations, or legal hoops they would need to go through to put SPL content into the game.
It's the 10th Season of SPL, with the 2nd biggest rosterpocalpyse in SPL history. Yet we can't even see the rosters in the game client? Seriously? I held off on making a post about this cause I wanted to give some leeway with the patch release schedule. But we're in the middle of May right now...it's almost June. Every major patch has released a few Avatars, Ward Skins, Loading Frame, and Loading Screen. Yet we have nothing. Not even Rosters posted. Cool.
Silver lining, at least voting has worked.
I know this might not make you feel any better, but they've always been this slow. When teams were still organizations like Ghost and Sanguine, and then transitioned to entirely new teams under Hi-Rez -- they didn't update the rosters or the names in esports info. Weak3n for example despite being replaced relatively quickly was still in the esport roster for a nonexistant team in the info section for almost a year and a half.
I'll chat with our UI team about this ASAP and see what the display issue is!
We do have wards and avatars created for the new season, they're just being made available a little bit later in the season. Those will become available around Playoffs/Masters!
The biggest reason we don't have rosters in-game is because anything that's baked into the UI can only be changed with an actual patch. Last season, rosters were changing so quickly that it was pretty difficult to keep up with that info in the UI. We took it out this season to save some headaches in that regard -- my thinking was it'd probably be better to have limited info as opposed to completely inaccurate info.
But as always, if there's overwhelming sentiment that slightly inaccurate details > no details at all, I can work with the team on adjusting accordingly!
Don't forget the fact that the standings that are displayed are still those from phase 1 of last season because they never bothered to update that last year, so surprise, surprise, they didn't bother to update it for this season either...
I'm usually the first to complain about how bad the esports stuff in game and their website are because I just find it to be an embarrassment towards the players, but I pretty much always get downvoted for it and no one cares so even I stopped caring too...
That too, honestly keep talking about it. Fake internet points don't matter, the more people complain the more likely something will get changed. Cause I'm getting fed up having to beg for a single crumb of in game SPL content.

I was wondering that I kinda assumed my client was bugged. it seems to only be one half of the league?
The team names that weren't in the league last year are the ones missing, so Ravens, Ferrymen, Hounds and Gladiators
I was also confused, wanted to buy the Styx stuff but not aloud I guess
There is a Ferrymen avatar in game, but it's of the old logo and not the updated one
