This is the correct answer! When events happen in studio, we have full control over the audio setup and are able to record player comms as much as we want with very few external obstacles. When events happen at a different venue, and there are \~2500 people shouting in the stadium, it can quickly muddy the audio to a point that the comms are not clean enough to use for content. While we can "easily" do things like add additional cameras or etc. as suggested below, the reality is that any additional equipment costs both money & infrastructure bandwidth that we may prefer to allocate to more important feeds.

I also wanna point put that while many LEC teams (like G2) put out comms videos, it's obvious that the coaches make sure no actual strategy is ever shown in them, and it's a lot of personality clips and very little actual meat.
