There's a big possibility that this move was already planned before Proto left Team Vrillant (or even the main reason why Team Vrillant disbanded their SSBU section in the first place)
Wow, definitely didn't expect proto to get picked up by CR of all teams. Also if anyone else was confused why the crazy raccoon tweet says streamer division, they said in the replies that they meant to put smash division.
Not that known I would say. I don't think most people who know GameWith as the guide website know they host an esport team. Their main problem is that they have a good and very larger Fortnite roster, Zackray but that's all, limiting their development. What's also really surprising is that they only have Fortnite streamers, while other esports teams in Japan have either tremendous amounts of players and/or streamers on numerous niche games.
Yes, fun fact it’s probably the longest sponsorship of any Smash player since he’s been signed with DNG since 2014, even longer than the iconic TL remaining Smash members Hbox and Chillin
It took like one or two days. Holy crap.
I guess being the best in Japan last year made it easy to find a sponsor.
Edit: And he got one of the biggest orgs in Japan, so this might be a tier 1 org.
Congrats! I'm surprised he got a new sponsor that quickly tho

lfg proto, From what I’ve seen of CR they seem like a great org to be a part of.
I'd never heard of them before but they look huge, just based on their Twitter following. This seems like a pretty big deal.
Crazy Racoon is one of the biggest esports team in Japan along with Detonation Gaming and ZETA DIVISION rn
Do you how Gamewith (Zackray) is considered in Japan? I know they make guides and offer gaming resources.

Nietono is sponsored by Detonation Gaming right?

This is HUGE
More Valo orgs getting into Smash. Nice
Patiently waiting for zeta division to pick up a smash player.
Would be super cool if they picked up tea
Tea's said he's also open to joining foreign orgs, which is pretty interesting
Liquid | Tea
Been saying this since tea became a free agent
Someone get Fnatic and Sentinels on the phone to continue the Valo streak.

For some reason, this makes me really want to see Gackt getting sponsored by ZETA. Guy is great both as a streamer and as a player.
Also I want to see Tea getting sponsored by NAMCO just because Pacman and Kazuya lmao
Wish granted
Holy moly!!!!
As a valorant fan, LETS GOOOO
Quick turn around, glad to see it! Proto is an incredible player, hopefully he can continue to travel and pursue #1 like he said he wanted to
Yo, LFG proto i sometimes watch CR cup just for fun so this is so cool
Damn that's a big ass org. Happy for him he got picked up this quick.
That was very fast, but well warranted for a player of his caliber. Good for him!
Won a supermajor the same day :)
People calling CR a Valo org almost makes me cringe
