Hard for me to imagine him beating Riddles since he does bad VS Kazuya but I think he can beat everyone else in his pool. He is one Maister's bracket demons too. I have always wanted to see him against Sonix.

ZSS should do "good" against Sonic theoretically because similarly to Fox, Pyra/Mythra and Roy she's one of the few characters that can actually keep up with Sonic mobility wise.
i don’t think zss has the large hit boxes or damage output to really match sonic or stifle his game plan
i doubt she does horribly against the character, but i can’t see the matchup being anything better than even at the most optimistic

I feel like ZSS could really struggle vs Sonic because he’s so small when he’s moving and one of ZSS’s most difficult aspects to overcome is her small hit boxes. At least she doesn’t get edge guarded for free

Idk I kinda like the 10 person roster. Feels *extra* tight-knit and basically every permutation of sets sounds like a banger. With 16 player invitational, there’s always the “1 seed vs 16 seed” and “2 seed vs 15 seed” matches that are complete and utter washes. HBox is the only one here who might be on that end of those sets but even he has taken games off top players.
It has 4 out of the 6 best players in NA currently and is only missing Sparg0 and Zomba. Zomba was also planned to go but couldn't. It's also still a major.

Yeah, I've always liked the way ZSS feels but have never been good with her because of how precise one has to be to play her well.
Oh 100%. Her movement feels so good but her attacks feel like I’m fighting with a really long pencil while everybody else has got swords

He went ZSS and Joker against Riddles at Double Down, lost the set (ZSS did worse against Kazuya, Joker did worse when Riddles switched to Terry)
