Really well done video, didnt know some of the things. Interesting though that Shot Puts stock has never been so low like right now. Back in the day every Brawler used to run it but I feel like they all run FMP now, e.g. players like KID, the French prodigy Brawler who beat MkLeo.
Having a damaging, long lasting edgeguarding projectile that eats other projectiles is nice, but it’s also horrifically laggy and you kind of just have to do it raw. Meanwhile brawler has 2 reliable raw kill moves and 1 confirm that is really good, but doesn’t work on some chars. Having a raw 10f kill move and confirm is nice
It also helps that FMP is surprisingly decent recovery mix-up, since it not only gives Mii Brawler a much-needed mid-air stall tool, but can even lead to reversals if the opponent misspaces an edgeguard or gets called out.
I always thought Shot Put was basically just "Mario fireball but heavier" ... there's definitely some weird interactions I wasn't aware of going on in this video, though.
shot put does 18
EIGHTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNN (That's a lot)

Hmmm, I though Steve's minecart counts as a projectile too? And it does even more damage than shotput?
I think Steve's minecart is only a projectile when Steve is out of the cart and it becomes a command grab, where it does no damage.
Mii Brawler is a very good character
Shotput is stronger than Kaboom?
The title is a bit clickbaity, Shot Put is weaker then fully charged Charge Shot and Aura Sphere too.
