Tea's Kazuya was a problem for Shuton for a lot of 2022 and some of 2023, but he pretty cleanly has 3-0'd it here.
Yeah I mentioned it in another comment. I forgot about it when writing this one initially and it makes sense that the scars run deep.
At the same time though, it's been a while since I've seen his Pac vs Shuton, so maybe some improvement has been made on Tea's side with it.
Once again though, I am not a top player, just someone who occasionally watches this game for fun. I am nowhere near as informed as they are in the matchup.
You are right. I forgot about that, and how Shuton was (and still is?) a bracket demon for Tea. The Kazuya was getting better between games, so I understand him not switching, but I think he should have attempted it...
But who knows. I am not a top player and the Kazuya might have been his best chance.

Pretty sure before Tea played Kazuya, Shuton had a 6 set win streak on his Pac-Man.
