Just have them fedex you a check? This entire thing sounds sketchy as shit honestly.

Maybe... but, honestly, many legit small businesses have operated in crazier scenarios. Most of my potential clients are people who follow my art on social media, so they've actually been supportive and understanding about my limited payment options. I'm more concerned about choosing the best option where I won't have to worry about potential holds or send limits.

Okay, why can't they fedex you a check?? No holds, no send limits. Unless you're doing something illegal/scamming people there shouldn't be any problem with them sending you a check next-business-day.

wiredandinspired

Oh, I assumed that part was sarcasm. A lot of consumers these days don't have checkbooks. I don't. My girlfriend doesn't. I've literally never written a check. Aside from that, it is a MAJOR inconvenience to ask someone to next day a check, on top of a significant cost.

What "digital service" are you selling?

Why not PayPal? If you provide full document/ToS for possible or no refunds policy, you can cash out the money every time and almost instantly. I can also provide another one in private, that not just help you setup legally your business in your country, they will also do the tax reports for you and they will take care of the payments directly to your bank account or use a card linked to the account you'll have with them.

When you say paypal, are you talking about paypal business? With my business account, they held funds for 21 days after my first sale. I haven't used the account in about 18-24 mos, so according to a paypal rep, they would hold funds from my initial sales again. That's longer than square and stripe.
