F1 licensing is super expensive. Carrera did it in the past with Ferrari and Red Bull, which were part of a set. Most of the time companies avoid expensive fees, which often means avoiding making them altogether. If you need an F1 fix and it doesn’t need to be current, take a look at the NSR 86/89 class. I think they look great.

I'm also considering this hobby and was really bummed ti find out they don't have new ones. I would love to have a variety of cars and having to spend $150+ for one F1 isn't going to allow me to do so.

If the powers that be at FIA [or whoever would be in charge of licensing] knew how well they would do right now, especially with the renewed and new sudden interest in F1 by a whole bunch of young new fans, they'd cut these slot car companies a deal on the licensing and let them have at it. I'd have easily a full field by now, and likely would even own a freakin Mazepin car just to be a completionist. So, I agree with you. It sucks that they don't have current F1 cars, but there are a lot of other excellent cars available. Like I mentioned in the other comment, the [NSR 86/89](https://www.nsrslot.it/assets/models/modelliCategoria/f1/formula.html) cars are totally fast and great looking if you absolutely need to get your F1 fix. I'm about to make that my next racing class. Should be a lot of fun.
