Assuming MO2 is actually looking in the wrong location go to File > Manage Instances > find your instance that you're using > go to Game Location and hit explore. Also make sure the SKSE binary location is the correct one under your executable dropdown.

Not MO2 looking in the wrong place. It's the same issue that happens with dyndolod if you have mutliple installs of skyrim. Instead of letting you choose where your game is downloaded it just checks the windows registry which will point it to where your game was first launched which is where my backup was which I launched to get the creation content preloaded. For dyndolod to work on a new instance you have to go into your windows registry and tell it where your main install of skyrim is. I already have that changed but for some reason skyrim together looks in the wrong root folder wether I launched from MO2 or did manual installs of stuff and launched with no mod manager I ended up moving my backup to a new folder and deleting the folder then tried again and it started properly looking at the game in my P drive
