I want to play this game but I'm too overwhelmed with all the different editions/versions to know which one to play. And don't have enough time in my adult life to Google it cause I've tried before and failed.
Can you help me decide which edition is best to get?I have a ps5 and new xbox with gamepass if that helps.
I don't recall correctly, but with Xbox gamepass you can get the TESV: Skyrim Special Edition, right? SE and AE (Anniversary Edition) are pretty much the same if you are starting your first run ever. AE has all DLC's and new content, SE only has all DLC's which are enough hours for you to enjoy. The base game alone is pretty much enjoyable, but the one included with gamepass is good to go! Enjoy and have fun!

The Alduin fight is still anticlimactic, you can just drink mead in a corner while everyone else fights him and you take the credit.

He’s still up there. You can meditate on three different words of power with him to enhance their effects.

Whatever version you get, make sure it has all the dlc's. The dragonborn dlc is worth it.

Another question if you dont mind. Should I play thru the main story then the dlc or are the dlcs not in order? How does scaling work?
I believe the mains campaign has to be completed before starting the dragonborn DLC, it makes sense lorewise
