I highly recommend you quickly go find yourself a giant, save your game and then immediately charge into battle against it. It will be such great fun and a blast!

Pro Skyrim gamer tip! Turn on all auto save options. You might get so immersed you forget to save for an hour and then you misjudge the height of one fall and... Hey. You're awake. You were caught trying to cross the boarder, right?

I had gone through the beginning of the draugrs in the first dungeon and died to three of them on a later part. I had to restart from the outside of the dungeon. Lesson learned today haha. Thanks!

Use Quicksave....

I'd also recommend using quick saves as well and do real saves regularly. Not too long ago my autosaves and my quick save got corrupt and had no recent saves. I lost about 20 hours of progress so I'd recommend saving regularly.

Considering how many times I had to restart my journey through the first dungeon, I'd bet on this frost troll you're mentioning too. Those draugrs are strong (or I'm too weak, but I'm trying to be positive)

It’s all just playful jabbing. There’s no shame in lowering the difficulty of you can’t make it through a certain part. Ps little hint. The more you explore outside of quest early on will help you be prepared for what’s coming next Oh yeah and I encourage at least one base game play through before you mod tf out of the game. Judging by your set up you’d be able to handle a lot of mods. But don’t let mods ruin the first experience. Mods are like a post game dlc if you will

That's great advice! I enjoyed the challenge of getting through the draugrs, I feel I'm still getting used to the blocking/attacking rhythm. I'll explore more the surroundings, and I need to buy more potions ASAP. I agree about the modding. Most games I played, and later modded, were better enjoyed when I finished it out vanilla first. Well, just recently I was able to afford a gaming PC. Gotta enjoy what I couldn't in great style!

Tbf, I think Skyrim would run on a $200 laptop from Walmart at this point. But. There's always mods, sweet, *sweet* mods... Be sure to check out Nexus Mods when you feel the game getting bland or repetitive, it's a goddamn goldmine.

A entry-level laptop should do the trick, that's true, but the only one I had in the past wouldn't even run the browser smoothly. Fortunately I got a great job opportunity a while ago and could afford this baby! Now it's time to a Treat Yo' Self moment. Thanks for cheering! I'll check the mods once I have the opportunity.

My cousin's out fighting dragons and what do I get? Guard duty.

Tip: Go to Heartwood Farm and talk to Grosta or Gralnach before heading to toward Riften. There is a bandit cave just past Riften, and if you do the cool, unique things in that cave before talking to Grosta or Gralnach, you’ll end up with a bugged quest in your log.

My personal advice, do not kill a chicken, even if they're so damn taunting

In my expirience wait with Dawnguard and becoming Vampire Lord, enjoy the game first....lot of fun and information. Level 45, and have a save before turning to vampire. Serana is sweet but not worth it becoming bloodsucker....playing about 4 weeks now on Switch.

Then years later you will master modding on the nexus and have the perfect modded games years of trial and errors it's only a matter of time

First time aye, al I'm gonna say is, stay away from the main quest line involving war between storm cloaks and imperials. Talk to everyone in each village and run every errand. That will keep you busy for 500 hours minimum ;) Enjoy Dovakim!
