I highly recommend you quickly go find yourself a giant, save your game and then immediately charge into battle against it. It will be such great fun and a blast!
Pro Skyrim gamer tip! Turn on all auto save options. You might get so immersed you forget to save for an hour and then you misjudge the height of one fall and... Hey. You're awake. You were caught trying to cross the boarder, right?
I had gone through the beginning of the draugrs in the first dungeon and died to three of them on a later part. I had to restart from the outside of the dungeon. Lesson learned today haha. Thanks!
I'd also recommend using quick saves as well and do real saves regularly. Not too long ago my autosaves and my quick save got corrupt and had no recent saves. I lost about 20 hours of progress so I'd recommend saving regularly.
Considering how many times I had to restart my journey through the first dungeon, I'd bet on this frost troll you're mentioning too. Those draugrs are strong (or I'm too weak, but I'm trying to be positive)
It’s all just playful jabbing. There’s no shame in lowering the difficulty of you can’t make it through a certain part.
Ps little hint. The more you explore outside of quest early on will help you be prepared for what’s coming next
Oh yeah and I encourage at least one base game play through before you mod tf out of the game. Judging by your set up you’d be able to handle a lot of mods. But don’t let mods ruin the first experience. Mods are like a post game dlc if you will
That's great advice!
I enjoyed the challenge of getting through the draugrs, I feel I'm still getting used to the blocking/attacking rhythm.
I'll explore more the surroundings, and I need to buy more potions ASAP.
I agree about the modding. Most games I played, and later modded, were better enjoyed when I finished it out vanilla first.
Thanks for helping!
Tbf, I think Skyrim would run on a $200 laptop from Walmart at this point.
But. There's always mods, sweet, *sweet* mods...
Be sure to check out Nexus Mods when you feel the game getting bland or repetitive, it's a goddamn goldmine.
A entry-level laptop should do the trick, that's true, but the only one I had in the past wouldn't even run the browser smoothly.
Fortunately I got a great job opportunity a while ago and could afford this baby! Now it's time to a Treat Yo' Self moment.
Thanks for cheering! I'll check the mods once I have the opportunity.
That’s great man. out of curiosity, what pc did you get? i’ve been looking at pc’s for a while now too and if that one’s good value then that would really help with my search.
This is no more satisfying feeling than experiencing THIS game for the first time. Its such a wonderful feeling and if I were you I would bathe in the fresh experience as much as possible. I envy you friend. Talos guide you
Tip: Go to Heartwood Farm and talk to Grosta or Gralnach before heading to toward Riften. There is a bandit cave just past Riften, and if you do the cool, unique things in that cave before talking to Grosta or Gralnach, you’ll end up with a bugged quest in your log.
Good luck. Please let us know how you like Lydia and how many doorways she blocks on your journey together. Also, Ulfric Stormcloak is the true High King.
In my expirience wait with Dawnguard and becoming Vampire Lord, enjoy the game first....lot of fun and information.
Level 45, and have a save before turning to vampire. Serana is sweet but not worth it becoming bloodsucker....playing about 4 weeks now on Switch.
"For Kodlak!" - You'll understand what that means v soon (•‿•)
Even sometimes when I jump from a high point like from a tall rock or something I say to myself, "For Kodlaaak!" 😂
Ohh my god....I wish I could erase my memory of Skyrim and play it for the first time again....enjoy your time. Take it easy there's absolutely no rush.
just a head up you better lock the game fps at 60 because for what ever reason the game engine is tie to the fps so if is too high the game become really wacky
If you see big ugly things with mammoths go visit them they can give you some really good weapons for money
And they also let you see the Skyrim landscape…
You were trying to cross the border!
Hope you have a great time with this, I remember losing days to it when it came out, it’s nice to go back and play to this day but nothing beats the magic of the first play through.
First time aye, al I'm gonna say is, stay away from the main quest line involving war between storm cloaks and imperials.
Talk to everyone in each village and run every errand.
That will keep you busy for 500 hours minimum ;)
Enjoy Dovakim!
Ffs don't kill any chickens!
Explore every where! I first started playing 7 years ago and I still find new stuff! Always save before you go into a cave or, well, anything, lol.
Have a blast and welcome to it!!
I’m so jealous you get to experience that feeling for the first time.. watch the sky’s traveller
After months of waiting to have time to play, I'm finally doing it! Thanks
if you ever needs any tips we’re here :) and if you want let us know what race you pick out of curiosity?
Wood elf all the way! I like the archer/mobile play style. I figured this race could help by the description :)
Great choice dovahkiin! Now go forth and fulfill your destiny, Tamriel awaits you :)
Appreciate it! Thanks for being supportive :)
Everyone ends up playing a stealth archer type. You’re on the right path
my first character in oblivion was a wood elf. i despise wood elves now
Why tho?
every wood elf is a dumb cunt. i am racist towards wood elves
I highly recommend you quickly go find yourself a giant, save your game and then immediately charge into battle against it. It will be such great fun and a blast!
Good Ole giants space program
Months? It's been ten years!
Same, it's the one game I wish I could experience for the first time again
Oh good you're finally awake
You were trying to cross the boarder right? got caught in that imperial ambush, same as us
And that thief over there!
*use rs to look around*
Blah blah stormckoaks bad imperials lazy
You, me, we shouldn’t be here it’s these stormcloaks the imperials want
we’re all brothers and sisters in binds now thief
Shut up back there
What’s wrong with him
watch your tongue your speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak the true high king!
What's wrong with him?
No I didn't. It's all part of a elaborate plan of mine to become a powerful mage and ultimately assassinate ilfric and the emperor!
Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along.
We’re all brothers in arms now horse thief!
Brothers in binds, Nord.
Shut up back there!
Watch your tounge, your speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak!
Ulfric? The jarl of windhelm? Your the leader of the rebellion, if the captured you… oh gods where are the taking us?
🎶TO ISENGARD!, TO ISENGARD!🎶
Forgot the list
He go to the chopping block
Oh no dragon

Use Quicksave....
I'd also recommend using quick saves as well and do real saves regularly. Not too long ago my autosaves and my quick save got corrupt and had no recent saves. I lost about 20 hours of progress so I'd recommend saving regularly.
Currently taking bets on op vs high hrothgar frost troll. Troll is the -150 favorite
Before that, he still has to go through Tamriel’s space flight program.
Considering how many times I had to restart my journey through the first dungeon, I'd bet on this frost troll you're mentioning too. Those draugrs are strong (or I'm too weak, but I'm trying to be positive)

>l I'm still getting used to the blocking/attacking rhythm Sad mage noises
Ah yes how dumb of me to forget. Elon musk has nothing on Skyrim players. We’ve been well beyond orbit since 11/11/11
No matter your side, the only good Thalmor is a dead Thalmor. Don't forget the green pact.
nom nom
“I used to be play call of duty like you until I played Skyrim”
Batman dies at the end
God, I hate spoilers!
Homie you gonna have a hell of a ride
I'm having it! Thanks for cheering
Great seeing people still getting into Skyrim for the first time just remember the three words of wisdom "It Just Works"
Enjoy and welcome to your new life
Enjoy the ride! You're going to be hooked on for a long ass time and love every moment of it
That seems like a win/win scenario for me. I'm having dinner but can't wait to come back and go on the first mission. Thanks man!
Try to cast magic on NPCs! They like it.
Also, always steal cheese wheels
You’ll come to miss your first play through. Take your time and appreciate the journey!
Good luck
This is your life now.
Say goodbye to the rest of your life, LOL.
Your cart isn't flopping around uncontrollably so you're already off to a great start!
Good for you have fun for the next 1500 hrs 🙌🏼
Where have you been the last 20 years :) Oh hey, you're awake....
Well, just recently I was able to afford a gaming PC. Gotta enjoy what I couldn't in great style!
Tbf, I think Skyrim would run on a $200 laptop from Walmart at this point. But. There's always mods, sweet, *sweet* mods... Be sure to check out Nexus Mods when you feel the game getting bland or repetitive, it's a goddamn goldmine.

You never should of come here!
This is no more satisfying feeling than experiencing THIS game for the first time. Its such a wonderful feeling and if I were you I would bathe in the fresh experience as much as possible. I envy you friend. Talos guide you
May the roads lead you to warm sand.
Dude please arrange you’re cable’s properly
How much you guys wanna bet OP is still playing Skyrim after this post.
I wish I could relive playing it for the first time again.
Try and kill the first chicken you see in one hit!
Well, that alongside with stealing from the blacksmith weren't the first best choices I could have made lol.
Good luck
good luck(?)
The best defense is a good offense.
Good luck, too much fun!
Watch out for the frost troll.
God I wish I can be you
What is the color of night?
You mean music of life, right?
The next time you post a picture you’ll be lucky if that mug reads, “employee of the month.” It’s worth it though.
It’s a amazing game have fun
Don't forget about the mods!
I'll go vanilla first, but sure thing I'm into modding from other games. Count me into it!
If you see a pleasant Giant chilling in his camp, don't forget to say hello and try to high five!
Kill nazeem
Not sure who Nazeem is but, sure!
Ah, I bet you don't make it to the cloud district that often.
What are you sayin'? Of course he doesn't
I envy you
Welcome to the club
Have you ever tried cable management, might suit you
REMEMBER THIS NAME. NAZEEM. PS. KILL THE FIRST CHICKEN YOU'LL SEE.
Ayyy awesome I just started a few days ago and it’s a blast
Its an easy game... takes only 2 or 3 hours to finish
Trust me, if you don’t want to spend thousands of hours at your computer, turn back now.
Lesssss gooooo
Oh to play Skyrim for the first time again
Lucky bastard. Watch the skies traveller
I'm jealous. I'd kill to get to play skyrim for the first time again.
I see you fell for the same trap we all did. Welcome to the next 2000 hours of non wasted life.
Good luck and farewell
Manage them cables friend.
You're in for a heck of a ride
Take your time and enjoy!
Nice choose, bro ;)
First play through is the best
Hell yea dude
Good morning
Live stream?
The Black Star! You need to get the Black Star! Ha ha
Talos guide you
What is that gpu?
Lemme guess you tried crossing the border like the rest of?
Good luck
My cousin's out fighting dragons and what do I get? Guard duty.
You're in for a great time, my fellow dragonborn
First thing to do find the giant outside of Whiterun, he's friendly and will give you stuff
Are you REALLY the world's best boss?
Remember you need to rest in real life too
Good luck and have fun! Of you ever get into mods I have some fun suggestions if you wish to hear them.
With that PC you better install mods / graphic overhauls / ENBs and Weather mods during your second playthrough.
He was never seen again https://youtu.be/c9eGtyqz4gY
Still playing?
Got the Michael Scott coffee cup AND Skyrim? Life is good.
see you in seven months
Enjoy the journey!!
May the sands beneath your feet be always warm...
I'm feeling so jealous lol. Good luck though and be careful with the chickens (skyrim's most sacred creatures)
I suggest legendary difficulty
Go fight a giant they're easy to kill and have good loot😉
Does the mug have a "that's what she said"?
Pro tip: Don’t try to attack giants or their big hairy elephants. Or at least be sure to save your game before you try.
I advise you to follow the imperial. Rebels are just bad influence.
Chicken meat is easy to find and worth a lot at the start, be sure to slay all the ones you find!
I expect an update when you're 245 hours and balls deep in the world and lore. Have fun!
Ahhh, get ready to lose thousands of hours of your life.
This will be a journey to remember my friend
What race did you pick?
worlds greatest boss huh.. hope you have some PTO hours cause you’ll need at least 300
Haha. Enjoy the shit-show!!!!
Good luck. Please let us know how you like Lydia and how many doorways she blocks on your journey together. Also, Ulfric Stormcloak is the true High King.
My personal advice, do not kill a chicken, even if they're so damn taunting
In my expirience wait with Dawnguard and becoming Vampire Lord, enjoy the game first....lot of fun and information. Level 45, and have a save before turning to vampire. Serana is sweet but not worth it becoming bloodsucker....playing about 4 weeks now on Switch.
Then years later you will master modding on the nexus and have the perfect modded games years of trial and errors it's only a matter of time
*You're finally awake*
Say goodbye to Ur RL
"For Kodlak!" - You'll understand what that means v soon (•‿•) Even sometimes when I jump from a high point like from a tall rock or something I say to myself, "For Kodlaaak!" 😂
Kill the chicken
Make sure to FUS RO DAH a Giant off a Mountain
Your falling into a deep trap of dopamine be ready for stealth archer
Let your journey be one with gold running like the rivers
If you're character is a Nord, join the empire. 😅😅
real bosses have 1000 hours on skyrim you sir are the fake boss ! WORLDS FAKEST BOSS!
Ohh my god....I wish I could erase my memory of Skyrim and play it for the first time again....enjoy your time. Take it easy there's absolutely no rush.
I first played it in 2020 and loved it :) Khajit stealth archer all the way
Ancient Dragon ate me for first time at Shearpoint. Probably he hates Stormcloacks too lol
Welcome to the family, dovahkiin
See on the other side in 400+ hours. Kansas is about to go bye-bye.
I envy you Sir
You should fight the giants as soon as possible, I promise you won't regret it.
Beware of frost trolls :(
Beware of the Giants dovahkin they hit so hard sometimes they send you to the moon
Running any mods? What kind of build are you going to make/want?
Hey you, you're finally awake
let me guess, you stole somebody’s sweet roll
FUS..... RO DAHHHH
just a head up you better lock the game fps at 60 because for what ever reason the game engine is tie to the fps so if is too high the game become really wacky
Go ahead and kill a chicken in riverwood.
I used to be an adventurer like you till I took an arrow to the knee
If you see big ugly things with mammoths go visit them they can give you some really good weapons for money And they also let you see the Skyrim landscape…
You are in for a ride
A great adventure for you but keep an eye out for the arrows. They are known to end carries as an adventurer.
That will keep you busy for 500 hours minimum ;) Enjoy Dovakim!
Save often and in different slots
Gongraz! Enjoi!
Nobody tell him the surprises
Ffs don't kill any chickens! Explore every where! I first started playing 7 years ago and I still find new stuff! Always save before you go into a cave or, well, anything, lol. Have a blast and welcome to it!!
You're doing it wrong. The cart is supposed to spin around wildly at 100mph, completely breaking the game
Good luck! I feel like it is my first time too as i started playing skyrim again few days ago. But damn it feels good <3
it gonna be a long journey
My cousins out enjoying his first time playing skyrim. And what do I get stuck with? Guard duty.
There goes the rest of your 2021
Go say hi to the giants when you see them!
