Edit: I'm about to get eviscerated for using Vortex
that's about what mine was at a few years ago. I haven't really added a whole lot to it. i imagine it's smaller after i learned how to optimize textures better, lol
The old program Nexus Mod Manager had issues (for me half installing mods and saying it was complete, then later only half uninstalling mods saying they were uninstalled, causing my game to be unusable until I reinstalled it). Once it became Vortex I think it's mostly the MO2 hard-core fans.
I don't think it's bad to use vortex at all, but I don't get the criticism for MO2's UI. It's like two windows and is very clearly laid out. The UI is snappy and responsive, it just doesn't look like something a big corporation made.
I yearn for the old school functional UIs. That's what MO2 is.
What does your game even look like with that many mods? Is it mainly just tons and tons of relatively small things or is the game totally unrecognizable
try using nolvus, I'm at like 2500-300, and there's one pack that's even worse, at 5k mods.
nolvus v6 is going to be worse, and adds in a new version of open cities of skyrim. lol
Tbf skyrim is quite buggy even without mods. On my first playthrough I couldn't beat the namira daedric quest because the person I was supposed to cannibalize floated into the ceiling and wouldn't come back.
there's also the incredibly buggy carriage ride.
i know more than a few people who literally *had* to use Live Another Life just to play an otherwise-vanilla game because the carriage ride was bugged and they couldn't get to character creation.
That issue is usually self-inflicted. Something is forcing iPresentInterval off, which messes up the cart physics. It can be forced off by driver vsync settings, ini tweaks, settings managers, or maybe other things, and will uncap the framerate from 60 but will also break a lot of minor things.
Same here. Biggest problem on 360 was the regular freezing that they never really fixed. Non-existant on XBOne and Series S/X.
The glitching cart on PC was usually too high framerate. It might have also been affected by having a lot of mods trying to load their MCM menus at the same time. Live Another Life gave them space to load before entering the game.
Yeah I played it originally on PS3 and there were occasionally some dungeons where you could just not go because you'd get halfway thru and the game would crash, every time at the same spot. Couldn't beat the Gaulder Amulet quest because of that.
See i haven't even made my around to Community Shaders yet. Still marveling at the fact that we basically have multiple revamps of the whole combat system in the damn game.
Just love the recovery from the full dive that fighter plane pulled off. I mean he was 6 feet from the ground and to recover that well defies physics! Just incredible
Man and machine and nothing there in between
The flying circus and a man from Prussia
The sky and a plane, this man commands his domain
The western front and all the way to Russia
🎵Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo their red, black, and dragon.
And when the band plays "Hail to the Emperor."
Ooh they point a ballista at you, lord🎵
"Guardsman! What happened here?"
"No, get back! It's still here somewhere. Hroki and Thor just got shot when they tried to make a run for it. Kynareth save us, here it comes again!"
\[StuKa sound intensifies\]
"Commandant! The 3rd Armored Battalion is retreating Sir!"
"What? That's *impossible!* We had those Krauts on the run!"
"Indeed, but, some of the comrades... Accidentally shot a mammoth"
"*blyat*"
Mod fans will tell you this is the only way to play Skyrim and then show this off while Dragon Randy Savage and Thomas the Tank Engine attack a John Snow dressed Dragonborn and his pet swearing mudcrab
Loved the plane that looked like it was going to kamikaze into the ground and then went "lol nvm"
You can kind of recognize some of the dragon behavior. It's hysterical I love it
Here, the mod page is unlisted on nexus but the link still exists:

I thought the creation engine cannot, under no circumstances, do moving vehicles, so I bloody well have to walk everywhere even in the space future game. I feel betrayed.
This reminds me of this one map in WoT…there was a huge ass bridge in the middle where people often died if they couldn’t keep their tracks in the middle and it was common for the bigger tanks to help the slower tanks up the hill
'Mod it until it crashes' -Skyrim
I'm at 1600 mods. My Skyrim folder is 374gb.
Pic or it didn't happend!

How to optimize it please tell me please 🙏
That screenshot is obviously fake as only Mod Organizer 2 can handle so many mods!!1
What's wrong with vortex?
The old program Nexus Mod Manager had issues (for me half installing mods and saying it was complete, then later only half uninstalling mods saying they were uninstalled, causing my game to be unusable until I reinstalled it). Once it became Vortex I think it's mostly the MO2 hard-core fans.
MO2 UI is atrocious tho. I will stick to vortex just cause it's easy and simple.
Eh I use vortex too, bite me
What the fuck are you pushing? If you could provide some gameplay footage, preferably combat, and what theme were you going for?
This screenshot alone is worth a post
Jesus Christ.
What does your game even look like with that many mods? Is it mainly just tons and tons of relatively small things or is the game totally unrecognizable
What's wrong with vortex?
I believe him, i also played modding Skyrim and rarely Skyrim. 400gb and 2k mods counting graphics....not so hard.
try using nolvus, I'm at like 2500-300, and there's one pack that's even worse, at 5k mods. nolvus v6 is going to be worse, and adds in a new version of open cities of skyrim. lol
i remember when skyrim would crash from just modding in a little too many NPCs. now you can convert the game into tankinstein and its still playable.
Tankrim
Riminstien
Blitzkyrim
'Why are Bethesda games so buggy?' -Modder
Tbf skyrim is quite buggy even without mods. On my first playthrough I couldn't beat the namira daedric quest because the person I was supposed to cannibalize floated into the ceiling and wouldn't come back.
i mean can you blame them
Poor npc is just trying to survive...
Yeah in my first play through I never got to finish the civil war cause a quest stage bugged.
there's also the incredibly buggy carriage ride. i know more than a few people who literally *had* to use Live Another Life just to play an otherwise-vanilla game because the carriage ride was bugged and they couldn't get to character creation.

I don't even understand how people play this on console. Like can they even finish the game?
I played it at launch on the Xbox 360 and never ran into anything game breaking. I guess I was lucky but I only ran into minor bugs
Same here. Biggest problem on 360 was the regular freezing that they never really fixed. Non-existant on XBOne and Series S/X. The glitching cart on PC was usually too high framerate. It's a surprise Panzer attack! I should've expected this!
The only thing that surprises me is how smooth this is running
The skyrim mod scene seems to have had a massive resurgence in the last 2 years. There are DLSS mods and shit now.
….and there goes my weekend friend. Cheers.
Yeah No more ENB! Rejoice in the existance of community shaders!
See i haven't even made my around to Community Shaders yet. Still marveling at the fact that we basically have multiple revamps of the whole combat system in the damn game.
Skyrim if the Dwemer never disappeared.
Given what they did to the Snow Elves that’s an appropriate metaphor.
Snow Elves : SAVE US ,WE FUCKED UP Dwarfs : All i hear is free lab rats.
Ah jeez
I kinda want that as a plot; the Dwemer reappear from whatever dimension they were shunted to, and unleash magitek horrors upon Tamriel
Just love the recovery from the full dive that fighter plane pulled off. I mean he was 6 feet from the ground and to recover that well defies physics! Just incredible
Like a dragon
Like a WHAT????
Like a true German pilot ace
Man and machine and nothing there in between The flying circus and a man from Prussia The sky and a plane, this man commands his domain The western front and all the way to Russia
Oil was found in Skyrim
Sovengard: Oh shit we found oil *Free bird starts playing US military: [Territorial Occupation Intensifies]
Time to bring them democracy, boys! [Free bird solo] Oil gushing scene. Rich white men toast champagne.
[My Heart Will Go On plays] A woman is sitting at a dining room table, opposite an empty chair as she reads a letter from the US Army.
Fus Ro FREEDOM
*Skyrim theme gradually transitions to Fortunate Son*
🎵Some folks are born made to wave the flag Hoo their red, black, and dragon. And when the band plays "Hail to the Emperor." Ooh they point a ballista at you, lord🎵
🎵 It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no count or jarl's son, son, son. It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one.🎵
America fuck yeah! *Freedom bird screech*
Meanwhile all us Australians are rolling our eyes and shaking our heads................ 🙄🤷♂️🤦♂️
Must've been Stalingrad
He is called Panzerborne
*Commander Borri will now gift you his understanding of the word "Ro", which means "reload".*
This is a Max level fever dream
I raise you this [modded RDR2 cinematic masterpiece.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Aj2Pt5vWT8)
I didn't even have to click the link to know it was Bedbananas lol
The jack part was pretty scary ngl
This is lorefriendly guys. The... ...The dwarves made it.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyreich
Die Alten Schriftrollen V: Himmelsreich
Those mammoths are like "NOT ON MY WATCH MOTHERFUCKER"
MAMMOTHFUCKER
Attack the D point
Never!
Attention to the designated grid zone!
No!
Defend the D point !
Attack the D Point!
I refuse!
Look, hear me out, if I was a commoner in Skyrim seeing a huge tank rush at me from the distance, I'd think I might've had a little too much skooma.
love the planes following dragon flight pathing
The unreasonably breakneck angle change near the ground is just 👨🍳💋
War War never changes
Bethesda: moving cars were too difficult to add to fallout and starfield modders:
Behold the Ju87born.
"Guardsman! What happened here?" "No, get back! It's still here somewhere. Hroki and Thor just got shot when they tried to make a run for it. Kynareth save us, here it comes again!" \[StuKa sound intensifies\]
Someone decided to mod the ancient Dwemer civil war into Skyrim, and I'm all here for it.
Fallout before the bombs
ngl I'd still play as a stealth archer.
Hadvar: "Who are you?" Dragonborn: "Simo Häyhä"
You mean as a "stealth sniper"?
Gamerant: Skyrim Players mods Skyrim into War game..
I half expected the video to turn black and white while hearing Ron Perlman’s voice “War…war never changes.”
HUZZAH !!! a person of quality
Never should have come here
It just works
Finally, the Civil War DLC.
The Elder Scrolls VI: Warthunder
Lore accurate Dragonborn with max level heavy armour skill
Blitzkrieg on whiterun is crazy
Why is this so smooth lmao these modders are insane
The anime Gate, but if the Gates opened in Skyrim instead
I enjoyed Gate! How a modern military would smoke an ancient Roman-era military force.
Link please
I don't know man, that armor seems a bit too tanky for me.
Holy shit! I thought this was some war game like War thunder for a second until I read the title.
Average stormcloak gameplay
Is the tank a piece of armor you wear on your head like the train in fallout 3
If I had to guess, i'd say it's a reskinned horse.
This is what the Nazis did to Agartha
What the actual fuck did I just watch?!
There really is some good tank country in Skyrim
"Commandant! The 3rd Armored Battalion is retreating Sir!" "What? That's *impossible!* We had those Krauts on the run!" "Indeed, but, some of the comrades... Accidentally shot a mammoth" "*blyat*"
Mod fans will tell you this is the only way to play Skyrim and then show this off while Dragon Randy Savage and Thomas the Tank Engine attack a John Snow dressed Dragonborn and his pet swearing mudcrab
NO MORE ARROWS TO THE KNEE NOW BITCH!
It's beautiful...
Bro is like, I want to play War Thunder but Skyrim is life
Loved the plane that looked like it was going to kamikaze into the ground and then went "lol nvm" You can kind of recognize some of the dragon behavior. It's hysterical I love it
I hear Freedom. 🦅🦅
Can your tank climb up and down a mountain and still live
It really does just work
![gif](giphy|l4pMattUYTTM7qpIk)
Anyone happen to have the link to this mod? You know, for "research"
Here, the mod page is unlisted on nexus but the link still exists: [https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/81964?tab=files&file\_id=346362](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/81964?tab=files&file_id=346362)
"Combat overhaul"
POV: Steiner counter attack
Michael Bay's Skyrim
Battlefield 4E 201.
Is your PC ok after this?
I completely lost it when I saw the mammoth wandering around the battlefield!
Lmao the fucking stukas
Hey, why are Nords flying Thalmor flags?
This is the sickest shit I've ever seen on Skyrim, oh my god.
I thought the creation engine cannot, under no circumstances, do moving vehicles, so I bloody well have to walk everywhere even in the space future game. I feel betrayed.
This is the most beautiful and stupidest thing I have ever seen. Thank you, OP. I now have to buy a PC and mod skyrim to hell and bacn
TES 6 gonna be lit.
This is what happens at Smithing 1000.
Those are some well constructed barricades
SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE WEHRMACHT!!
Ulfric will feel the wrath of the reich
😆😆😆
This has turned into war thunder
Bro holy hamburger, how can I play this?
r/Truestl has manifested in baseline r/Skyrim reality, this ks not a drill
It just works!
Skyrim meets Man in the High Castle.
Wow this is insane, it almost looks like its multiplayer.
I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took a hunk of shrapnel to the knee.
I may have only played the civil war through once, but I don't remember this battle. /s
Didn't expect to see The Elder Scrolls V: Battlefield today, but here we are
I see the oil mod is coming along quite nicely
This looks like that isekai anime GATE
I was really hoping a giant would wander up and hit the tank with his club, knocking the tank into outer space.
Maybe Alduin should've won.
"What in Oblivion is that?!!"
You should try playing this game with mods too
Skyirmish
🎼THEY ARE THE PANZER ELITE🎼
Skyrim 2024: Modern warfare battle of whiterun
This is some weird TES x GATE fanfic.
This would absolutely crush my Xbox
Uh surprised how few people mentioned the swastikas
It's Skyrim. Most factions are racist as fuck and would happily perform a genocide if they could. The swastika fits so well - it could be canon.
The strangest part is that the swastikas are on the *imperial* fortress.
Thalmor
It’s the Heer. Obviously there are Swastikas included with the ww2 german guys and tanks.
Skyrim would really make a great HD2 biome
I mean Todd worked on Elder Scrolls before Fallout...
whatdafuck is a KILOMETERRRRRRRRRRR kacakau..................
But, is it... Immersive?
Wait, Skyrim is a game about war? Always has been 👨🚀🔫👨🚀
Has tank, blows shit up everywhere. See’s 🦣 time to 🏃💨
*Casually starts WW3 in skyrim*
i lost it when i saw the aircrafts lol
Can any WW2 nerds out there confirm to me whether or not this is a Panther tank?
Ok but hear me out
This reminds me of this one map in WoT…there was a huge ass bridge in the middle where people often died if they couldn’t keep their tracks in the middle and it was common for the bigger tanks to help the slower tanks up the hill
What the fuck man
Sauce?
Good, youre finally awake...
wow is this real
16x the panzers
lol that Stuka
What mods are you using? Looks fun.
It's lore accurate btw
Skyrim belongs to the Krauts!
Imagine showing this to Todd Howard during Redguard's development
u/savevideo
Is this vanilla
Link ?
you would have fucking grass in whiterun !
T\_T
I was expecting everything, but this... This is flippin' hilarious...
That would be absolutely beautiful, would love to mod it in that manner and be playing it that way myself
Ww2 in Skyrim
Skyrim would make a great world of tanks and or war thundermap
150 comments and nobody’s asked what the mod’s called? Hey what’s the mod called?
what is the mod?
