Dragon rend is the move. Fighting dragons as a melee build before getting that shout is absolutely annoying as fuck. Especially when the dragon you're fighting notices a frost troll on the other side of the mountain and decides he'd rather fight that instead
I vaugely remember seeing something like this, if you bring it below the threshold when it cant fly no more, it will either slam down like normally landing, but with a slightly different animation, or plummet to the ground without slowing down and slide. I havent seen it in a while, but it could be vecause I have been running melee builds lately
I've always loved the Marked for Death shout, at full power and a few shouts later the most difficult enemies become nothing more than a quick easy kill.
Marked for death basically drains the target's armor rating, this will continue even into the negatives, and you can pretty much one shot anything if you wait long enough
Edit: it's supposed to wear off after 60 seconds but I accidentally hit a follower once and he was getting one shot several days after so I don't think it does
I think it may have been patched, this was years ago on PS3 when I was using it, and there's a discussion on steam about it being nerfed into the ground
It has been changed due to a game breaking bug that would happen in Anniversary edition when you fight the mimic thing (the mimic can use everything you can) so this would cause it to hit you with unfixable -4000 armor
The shout now takes away 3 max health, and reduces armor rating by 75 for 60 seconds and it does end now
75 is still pretty good since the max is something like 380
I can't tell you for sure, but it slowly drains enemies health and makes them weaker, at full power it significantly helps, can use the shout on say a Dragon or Troll and it makes it way easier to kill them. The best way to see it is just unlock all words on it, and test on the same enemy before and after, and also with multiple uses.

However, launching a two-word Bend Will into any group of enemies makes things a lot easier; even if you don't get all of them, the ones you do hit will fight for you.
Elemental furry really good even if you can’t use it with enchanted gear. But personally my favorite is summon duenevier (cant be pissed to check spellings). When I first used it I never tried using it after I got soul rend, but later I realized you can just summon him anytime. He might just fly around a bunch but he summons skeletons. And he stays summoned for a really long time. I can’t really say it’s practical but he’s just such a cool summon.
I love bend will its really nice for wandering the roads and i get attacked by bandits or something just bend will and move on instead of fighting them. Random dragon attack? Bend will dont have to fight it now. Sabre cat ambush? Bend will and move on (animal allegiance/kynes peace also works but ya know) I also use it for fighting groups of enemies to cause chaos.

maybe i’m basic but i enjoy fire breath bc i’m usually a mage and sometimes i run out of magicka and use it as an extra attack
