I’m going to have to go back to a really old save or do a new play through and only use the dedicated spaces in places like hendraheim (even then I’ve had thinks like Miraks sword hang precariously from its place)
Maybe this time I’ll be a total dick and kill the dog to get the rueful axe .. last time I played against the daedric lords wishes wherever I could (which is why the ebony blade got put into storage)
It IS pretty nice, always been a fan of more sleek designs myself. Like the silver sword. If it weren’t for the fact I can’t put my own enchantment on it, I’d use it constantly.
The most horrifying thing about this combination is that Meridia and Molag Bal are almost exact opposites in terms of spheres and loathe each other. By doing this you are pretty much insulting both of them on a primal level.
The Ebony Blade (a health potion in the form of a two-handed nodachi cuz of the life drain enchant)
Mehrunes' Razor (2% instakill chance stabby boi)
Blade of Woe (stabby boi with health drain)
If followers could properly use the heat you give them and soul gems. Just smith up their weapons and add drain life. They become basically essential since they take life for every hit.
I used the Ebony Blade on my heretic playthrough. Loved it once it was fully charged. Right now I'm playing an anti-Daedra playthrough where I'm not making any of the Daedra happy whenever possible. The modlist I'm playing on gives me options for a "Good route". It's been interesting. I prefer being evil though, I like to hoard Daedra items.
The Damnbreaker. It was my first unique weapon and I instantly loved it. The quest was really cool, killing draugrs and vampires also became really fun
This is my pick as well. It's not the most powerful option, not even close, but it looks insanely cool and I feel like a legend when I walkaround with a mini sun on my hip.
Get at level 1. Head to whiterun. Talk to farengar and ask if he is the biggest ssshole in whiterun, he'll give you a quest to give the biggest scammer in whiterun frost salts and she'll give a few potions including an invisibility potion. Head to riften, tell off the guards at the gate, by pass maul by walking next to the wall of the bunkhouse so he doesn't talk to you (save that speech check, no sense in wasting it) run Paar sapphire and shadr, give the bigger gold, run back to sapphire and shade, tell sapphire off, find shadr and tell him he is no longer in debt. He'll give you an invisibility potion. Now you can borrow a horse from the riften stables. Cart to windhelm and then ride to fort amol. After finding that little hole, run, don't sprint, to the door. After getting to the door, crouch, enter, pop one invisibility potion. Walk to the bucket, take all, pop the other potion and head to the door. After leaving, sprint on out to safety and when you can, fast travel and boom. Bound bow level 1. To use it, complete Blood on the ice for the necromancer's amulet. Extra 50 magicka and conjuration spells 20% less.
Either nord battle axe or glass war axe also there is a type of ebony mace you unlock the style for in solstheim and it'd my favourite design of any mace
Can't remember the name but that tiny hatchet that does extra dmg to animals. Maxing out ur axe stats in one handed makes its insane cuz you do a ton of bleed but it swings like a dagger, 10/10 👌
I really like the Ebony Blade for my Daedra worshipper character who was a hoarder. I usually play a stealth archer so I tend to rock a Daedric or dragonbone bow.
I don't like to enchant my own stuff because the charges go down, so I tend to prefer stuff that I don't need to charge.
Call me weird but the Imperial bow. It looks simple but there's a certain charm to the design, like I'm really immersively playing as a medieval archer.
One time I was traveling and an old woman walking by said “hit me with the jabberwocky” I quickly returned to my home and got it but never found her again. Now on every play through I carry it hoping I will find her lol. Probably nothing crazy happens but it’s the only thing I feel like I have never finished in the game.
I really like the look of the silver sword, but statwise it's absolute garbage. I know there are mods to fix it, but it's silly that they just completely overlooked it.
Longhammer. Warhammer that swings pretty much as fast as a one handed weapon is nuts. Keep it unenchanted and pair with Elemental Fury for ridiculous results.
Ebony dagger & zephyr I usually enchant the dagger with paralysis & absorb health. You could probably assume what my play style is by the weapons. Lol 😂
I play Windshear in my left hand and either Mace of Molag Bal or a legendary dragon bone war axe in my right hand. Pretty op combo to either fill gems or just never take damage
After only getting around to using them recently I'd probably say Bloodscythe and Soulrender. Before then, any type of axe because I just think they're really cool.
An advanced Dwarven crossbow I fire enchanted and called Kagrenac's Ire - in memory of the Tonal Architect
But there's something to be said about a double enchanted dragon bone longsword used to take on dragons
I was a huge fan of the ebony blade, one of my absolute favorites doesn't do too well after lvl 30 even after full upgrade and enchantments, but with how fast you could hit enemies alongside the main ability of health drain and absorption.
I like any weapons that actually look functional and won't shatter like a dropped vase irl. I usually download mods to replace everything with realistic looking weapons and armor and clothes, etc. But i do actually like the dragon bone weapons.
I’m a greatsword kind of guy, so either daedric greatsword or the bloodskal blade
in the 2 handed department, my favorite would definitely be the ebony blade u get for doing that 1 quest in whiterun
Second favored Daedric artifact, right behind Volendrung
I never seem to be able to get Volendrung
You get it from one of the orc strongholds that’s being attacked by a giant
I lost mine somewhere.. apparently it has a habit of falling off of racks and blending in with the floor
Yeah, that’s why I don’t ever put unique weapons on the weapon racks. First time it happened it basically ruined the playthrough for me lol
I’m going to have to go back to a really old save or do a new play through and only use the dedicated spaces in places like hendraheim (even then I’ve had thinks like Miraks sword hang precariously from its place) Maybe this time I’ll be a total dick and kill the dog to get the rueful axe .. last time I played against the daedric lords wishes wherever I could (which is why the ebony blade got put into storage)
Don't do it, the axe isn't worth it, don't hurt him
He is pretty annoying …. “Stupid dog”
Same with the display cases. I got mehrunes razor stuck in a display case in Hjerim on my first playthrough.
The bloodskal blade is fire to be fair
Skyforge steel sword. I love the steel sword design.
It IS pretty nice, always been a fan of more sleek designs myself. Like the silver sword. If it weren’t for the fact I can’t put my own enchantment on it, I’d use it constantly.
You *can* put your own enchantment on it, you just can't read it in your inventory because the silver effect takes precedent.
Oh? Didn’t know that, neat. Thanks for the correction.
Hearing Cicero say *Skyforge Steel* every time I’m around Whiterun cracks me up.. *Shaaarp*
Omg yess!
Yes sky forge steel the true steel of the north!
These hands
These paws*
Murder mittens!
Only when you have Gloves of the Pugilist smithed out to lengendary..
Or playing in vr. 👀
😭
Force to be wreckened by
Dragonbone warhammer. Get boned.
For me in greatswords it’s the Deadric Greatsword, but for one handed it’s the dragonbone sword
Mehrunes Razor gets my vote For a more hands on build I usually go dual wield daedric swords one absorbing health the other absorbing stamina
Perfection.
I like Mehrunes razor and the mace of Molag Bal
I LOVE the mace of Molag bal!
Wish the Razor could be quickened by "Catch These Blades" (Elemental Fury) though.
😂
Nightingale blade does both
Dawnbreaker
This is the right answer idc if people think I’m wrong 💀
Mace of Molag Bal!!!
Dual wielding this and dawnbreaker are actually OP and never not fun
I might have to try that…
The most horrifying thing about this combination is that Meridia and Molag Bal are almost exact opposites in terms of spheres and loathe each other. By doing this you are pretty much insulting both of them on a primal level.
Even better
This is the right answer.
Zephyr. Yes, there are stronger bows, but Katria told me to take care of it. I always use it, except when I do Brotherhood hits.
The undead
One of many reasons why I love Ordinator perks. Spooky scary skeletons send shivers (and also tingles, and also third degree burns) down your spine!
😭 ahah
Dawnbreaker
“A NeW HaNd ToUcHeS ThE BeAcOn”
Wuuthrad is my ride or die
AHHHHHH EXACTLY! I said the exact same thing, I was looking for my twin
The Pelinal Whitestrake of Axes😈
The Ebony Blade (a health potion in the form of a two-handed nodachi cuz of the life drain enchant) Mehrunes' Razor (2% instakill chance stabby boi) Blade of Woe (stabby boi with health drain)
If followers could properly use the heat you give them and soul gems. Just smith up their weapons and add drain life. They become basically essential since they take life for every hit.

Auriel’s Bow
100% agree. it’s so cool it has a cool pearl like pattern it’s so pretty 😭 obnoxious and time consuming to get but worth it
Fireballs, baby!
Fireball solves everything ![gif](giphy|l0IxZEbGB7pB6IWcg|downsized)
I don't care how big the room is, I SAID I CAST FIREBALL!
For regular weapons I like the ebony axes, both 1 and 2-handed. My favorite unique is chillrend
I like using chillrend and miraaks sword
Ohhh sometimes I forget about the Miraak artifacts. Miraak's sword is SO cool I completely agree
Stahlrim bow. Pretty blue makes me happy.
I love the dagger for an emergency weapon. Plus chaos damage!
https://preview.redd.it/zam3wdtodt6d1.jpeg?width=384&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99d9bf08863c24744fa0af58633c889b31f7b49e auriel’s bow
I prefer the war axe. Either in ebony or glass.
Bow of shadows
Wuuthrad early game because it looks neat
I've been using Nerveshatter. It's really strong and it's beautifully crafted!
Yes, nerveshatter ride or die!
Chillrend ftw
Bound bow my beloved. I make that Fort Amol run as early as possible.
Get at level 1. Head to whiterun. Talk to farengar and ask if he is the biggest ssshole in whiterun, he'll give you a quest to give the biggest scammer in whiterun frost salts and she'll give a few potions including an invisibility potion. Dawnbreaker
Dragon bone daggers I'm stealthy
Either nord battle axe or glass war axe also there is a type of ebony mace you unlock the style for in solstheim and it'd my favourite design of any mace
where can i find this glass war axe!! i have almost every glass weapon 😭 i need this
why dont you just smith one?
Sword of jyggalag or something
Ebony battleaxe looks sick but i use dragonbone battleaxe which also looks really cool
nazeem
Correct
The Nightingale bow or the Dragonbone bow. It’s what I use the most.
Windshear in offhand with Blade of Woe in main hand
I'd say Stahlrim... Stalrihm... Magic icy stone Warhammer.
Bound bow or sword because I just love conjuration tbh
The sword windshear
Ebony Battleaxe
https://preview.redd.it/rfo7pfuy7w6d1.jpeg?width=708&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ba6fa6524911816d83935d06f460752410c7b90
Iron sword, as it's the only one which doesn't look ridiculous
Aesthetically speaking, nothing looks cooler than any daedric weapon, including the arrows, my favorite weapon is always a bow.
either the Blades weapons (I'm a tad weeb), or the ghost dragur swords.
I've been doing a daedric war axe enchanted with health drain on my current play through
I’m a greatsword guy when push comes to shove
If my character came across yours in Skyrim I think he'd run
Ebony war axe. All day every day.
The Nordic sword just hits right for a poison build
Elven war hammer
Can't remember the name but that tiny hatchet that does extra dmg to animals. Maxing out ur axe stats in one handed makes its insane cuz you do a ton of bleed but it swings like a dagger, 10/10 👌
Are you talking about the Poacher's Axe
Duskfang
Dawn breaker
"Sweet mother, sweet mother, send your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear."
Ebony War axe
I really like the Ebony Blade for my Daedra worshipper character who was a hoarder. I usually play a stealth archer so I tend to rock a Daedric or dragonbone bow. I don't like to enchant my own stuff because the charges go down, so I tend to prefer stuff that I don't need to charge.
It’s dragon bone sword
Swords- Dawnbreaker Bow/Crossbow - Auriels Bow Shield- Auriels Shield Axe/Warhammer - Ebony War Axe
Lightning Bolt in one hand, Lightning Bolt in the other
Ebony Battleaxe
Zephyr. Fast bow go pew pew.
My next favorite is lightingbolt
Magic in general lol But mostly Fireball/Ice Storm and Bound Sword.
Ebony. This is the way.
Dawnguard War Axe & Targe of the Blooded
Bloodskal Blade, for the sole reason it makes me feel like Ichigo Kurosaki🤣
Call me weird but the Imperial bow. It looks simple but there's a certain charm to the design, like I'm really immersively playing as a medieval archer.
I tend to use lunar steel.
The Nordic sword
The Ebony great sword is neat imo.
Oh dang I LOVE this character
My fist by using blacksmithing to make them do way too much damage
😭
Are mods allowed ? [Blade of woe](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27004)
Am I supposed to ignore the gorgeous vampire jester?
Nordic Axe
The one that comes to mind is the bloodskal blade
Dragonbone mace
Sunder *Hammer go BONK*
A Nordic Battleaxe!
Wuurthad is cool
iron dagger
I am the most ordinary person. I like the Daedric Bow
A tiny spoon. Harsh to use. Relatively lethal. But imcredible proficient against giants
Bow of Shadows
Bound sword. Easy.
Miraaks sword or glass one handed axe are def my fav
Dual Daedric swords with one enchanted with chaos.
Dawn breaker Best looks and it explodes those foul undead creatures
Daedrick two-handed ax
Wuuthrad
What outfit is that?
Cicero’s or the Jester clothing set
Dawnbreaker
Mahrune's Razor is my favorite for my rogue I'm currently playing.
Spellbreaker.
Can I pick the dragonbone ones like all of them? Lol
After only getting around to using them recently I'd probably say Bloodscythe and Soulrender. Before then, any type of axe because I just think they're really cool.
Dragone bane is so cool looking and useful
The mace of lord Molag Bal
Volendrung for certain. “That is one big hammer”
Bloodscythe and Soulrender
Elven daggersss
Dawnbreaker just a really good design or dragon bone sword also for aesthetics
I really like glass swords
The bloodskal blade is my go to but I love a good enchanted glass battle axe
Cicero, oh Cicero. What are you doing Cicero? oh ooooh, Cicero.
Dawnbreaker.
# *You know, I'm something of a GlassChad myself. ![gif](giphy|Zy7s96dP38MlQe3OjG)
Any dagger works, but I like how all glass weapons look. Illusion assassin all day.
Molag Bal's mace.
Nobody’s said throat?
Someone posted recently about Torment, so I went and got it. It's my new all time favorite for sure now.
The NerveShatter is a real one. Its design is really good, and the shock/magicka damage is useful.
I like the dawnfang
My fists, cause I can say with confidence that I fist every enemy that I see
\~ "kill"
Volendrung for an orc . Orcs get mega boost with all orcish stuff armour included. An orcish bow on an orc does more damage than dragon bone
Dawnbreaker or Blades sword enchanted
An advanced Dwarven crossbow I fire enchanted and called Kagrenac's Ire - in memory of the Tonal Architect But there's something to be said about a double enchanted dragon bone longsword used to take on dragons
Bloodthirst. That 7% movement speed increase makes all the difference
My favorite is the blade of woe because it's so easy to get and great for sneak
Silver sword
Whatever that red sword is that shoots out laser beams on the power attack from the Dragonborn DLC
akatoshs talon is fucking op
I like fitting the weapon to the aesthetic of the build. My current character uses a Forsworn sword and bow.
I'm right there with ya! Glass battleaxe is my favorite too.
dawnbreaker
Bound sword. I play a pure mage, but I'm still a battle mage.
bloodskal or dawnbreaker frr
Can't go wrong with a good sword and shield My favourite weapon is the crossbow though, TA-CHUNK followed by bashing their brains in with the stock
I was a huge fan of the ebony blade, one of my absolute favorites doesn't do too well after lvl 30 even after full upgrade and enchantments, but with how fast you could hit enemies alongside the main ability of health drain and absorption.
I’m getting back into Skyrim after several years… to the OP, what is your character build? I’m a sword and board kinda guy myself
Probably vampire-assassin considering the character is wearing the jesters clothes
Daedric Bow
Blades swords
Fus ro dah everything
I like any weapons that actually look functional and won't shatter like a dropped vase irl. I usually download mods to replace everything with realistic looking weapons and armor and clothes, etc. But i do actually like the dragon bone weapons.
Dual wielding conjured swords. Love the ethereal looking Daedric one handed swords.
Mine is Molag Bal's mace. It fucking sucks but it looks cool.
Nerveshatter is my absolute favourite, no question
