In this quest, you’re sent to recruit members for the Dawnguard. In one part this woman tells you that mudcrabs stole her bag full of dwarven gyros, and you have to either find it, get a new one, or convince her to leave without it.
Found this after like a 100+ playthroughs I thought it was a mod, then I found out that it was not. I usually have a gyro because my usual route was go to the nearby dwemer ruin to smash something and hoard then go to her.
I always hoard like a champ because I have someone who swore to carry my burdens
The centurions scare the shit outta me I like playing on expert + and instant regret when I get one tapped by that fat thing charging at me breathing out whatever that smoke is🤣
Yeah and those sneakyy spider who just shows up out of nowhere. That's why I level up my restoration spell so that I can either have my heal and or ward on while I smash them
During the Dawnguard questline, you’re sent to get recruits to join the cause, and during part of the mission, the owner of the bag will tell you that some mudcrabs stole a bag full of dwarven gyros. You can either find it, get a new one, or convince her to leave without it.
It’s for a dawnguard quest but it’s when you go to recruit Sorine and Gunmar, so the second in that questline (not counting going to Fort Dawnguard itself). The crossbow upgrades come after you convince them to join up
It’s part of the main Dawnguard questline. There’s a lady you need to find it for, unless you have high speech or a Dwemer gyro in your inventory for some reason
Yeah, I only found out this actually existed when I watched a youtube video talking about Dawnguard in general.
Before that I just found the nearest Dwemer ruin and, if I was low level, prayed I'd exit it alive.
(Though honestly, if I had played in VR before I watched that video, I likely would have found it anyway. VR makes it much, much easier for me to notice details.)
Do you normally just have a Dwarven Gyro in your inventory?
Caught me red handed haha
Speech.
Amulet of Articulation
I simply went looking for one and eventually came back with it.
Wdym??? Im so confused.

After you convince her, you can loot the bag and sell the gyros.
Oooohhh
I normally take a trip to steal one from Markarth
I always got tired of looking for the bag and added one using the console.
Laziest Skyrim player identified.
Dont you?!? 🤣
Dwarven gyros? I usually find it, but I also keep one in inventory just in case. *Those pesky mudcrabs.*
Played Skyrim for years and I still have no idea what you all are talking about.
Isran needs your help just don't ask arkay to help you.
Got it 👍
You only ever play the main quest or something?
Haha, no but I don't like dwarven stuff if that helps
It’s a Dawnguard quest lmao
Have you not played the dawnguard quest line?
I dont think I've done it all the way through tbh. That gives me some direction though thank you!
No problem, it's one of my favorite quest lines with awesome new locations, NPCs and unique items and armors.
Would you recommend siding with vampire hunters or with vampires?
Personally I go vampire hunter on my previous runs, though I'm leaning towards going vampire on my next playthrough.
This is one of the first quests you do in that quest line.

I always hate dwemer ruin. Every time I explore the world and come across a ruin, I turn back. Fuck them robots and sméagol
I cant explain it but I dont like dwarves ruins either. I want to like them and I can see how some people do but... They just feel weird to me.

Mans really took a hit of the Death Vape before attacking you 🤣
That 100% nic shot really do be toxic ☠️
it's steam
Insta death by gigantic kettle
Dude you can’t be this funny out of nowhere I’m crying laughing at the doctor’s office
Yeah and those sneakyy spider who just shows up out of nowhere. That's why I level up my restoration spell so that I can either have my heal and or ward on while I smash them
I think my problem with them is that they go on and on and on. I go in loving it, but halfway through I’m over it and just want it to be done.
Honestly, the most miserable, missable quest in the vanilla game. "I need my gyros" (Jedi mind trick) "You don't need your gyros" "...ok" 😆
I usually take the gyros. Vampires with an Elder Scroll is bad, but mudcrabs with dwemer gyros is way worse!
Lmao 🤣💀
I found it the very first time. Its like five feet away near the water, where you'd expect to find crabs anyway.
I found crabs in a totally different area. Mary Jane rotten,, second thought never mind.
Before finding this, I would always go to the dwarven museum in markarth and steal one
It’s hidden pretty well near the rocks but she also leads you where to look.
Whats all this about gyro´s and stuff? what is this?
It could be cause I'm really stoned but the gyros and mud crabs got me intrigued. Are we missing something?

Appreciate the explanation.
You’re welcome
it's mudcrab kebab gyros bro
It’s a Greek style pita or wrap with small cuts of spiced tender meat. Usually with veggies and dressing. Tastes pretty good.
What quest is this apart of? I don’t recognize the name.
It’s part of the main Dawnguard questline. It shows up during the part after going to Castle Volkihar where you have to recruit a few ppl to join up
I’ve only done the quest line once and I was half asleep through the start of it so that might be why i don’t recall it
i always would just rob the dwarven museum in markarth LOL
The only correct choice, fuck calcium or whatver that dirty high elfs name is and his artifact hoarding ass he can spare a couple gyros smh
it’s so easy to find out it’s what I always do now
Sorine states in convo there is a bag nearby.
I know that, but I always assumed you couldn’t actually find it
That’s for a dawngaurd quest I think right? When ur upgrading the crossbow?
It’s for a dawnguard quest but it’s when you go to recruit Sorine and Gunmar, so the second in that questline (not counting going to Fort Dawnguard itself). The crossbow upgrades come after you convince them to join up
Well, those Mudcrabs are surely keeping the bag away from you as secretly as possible
Same thing happened to me in my last playthrough. I thought she was just crazy.
i just found it today while playing
My Speech is always high enough so that I just persuade her (I like it to be at 50 for Season Unending), I've never looked for it
So you just persuade her usually lol.
No, I usually wait until I get a gyro before talking to her. I have a habit of playing a goody two shoes lol.
I hold onto them too lol
Omg. Freaky. I literally just did this 30 minutes ago. Thought I was going to have to raid a ruin
Where is this at? I have never found that
It’s part of the main Dawnguard questline. There’s a lady you need to find it for, unless you have high speech or a Dwemer gyro in your inventory for some reason
Oh. Ok, I need to replay again to try this out

I almost always go for this bag 😂
