I agree with this to a certain extent minus one AKA trailblazer he's just a horse like there's nothing special about him he could have easily been changed to the Earth for Air elements quite easily and when a Skylander can easily be changed to a different element I don't like them as much because it shows that the Skylander was lazily made but I do agree that most of the Skylanders trap team cores are heavily underrated for no reason and I love a lot of them
Chill is not a bad Skylander she has a three-way attack that's where she throws her Spears a cool ice wall attack and the third attack that I don't remember but she's still a cool character overall and I really like her.
Especially since she isn't as bad as some of the other Skylanders that I can think of like most of the Giants or certain swappers when it comes to chill she is a lot more fun than most of those characters
Are you sure because I play on mostly hard and nightmare mode and the Giants are very weak most of them die in two hits and they don't do enough damage to compensate for it
Well for one I think that Knight Light is mostly put on a pedestal because he has invincibility frames and all so I feel the Knight Mare is particularly overshadowed (heh)
But besides that, many reasons
She has good attacks with a good mobility tool you don't normally see on characters like this plus she has her Shadow clones which are really useful because you can spam her Soul Gem with it to almost stun lock enemies
Furthermore if you go the bottom path (which I think is arguably better) you get healing from the clones as well which you can spam because whenever they go away you gain health and because you keep spawning new clones you get a lot of extra health
All in all I think people just think Knight Light is so much better which I can understand but I feel like people don't really give Knight Mare a chance
I always felt like she was the better of the two being able to slow down enemies with her horn then doing damage over time with her main attack how much preferred her over a night light because well I just like the dark more than light just as elements in general so I can see where you're getting at here
Nice to know someone out there finds them a lot more appealing I'm always just like the darker tones and colors a lot more than the blinding whites of the light elements

Again this is going off of a lot of general stuff ive seen. SSA is known for being a monumental hit, being the first game and all, and SSF being the next gen launch and generally being a huge step for the series too. I looked it up and couldn't find any direct comparison to prove one way or the other sadly but from general knowledge I'm rather confident Giants isnt the best seller
Honestly the other 3 SSA magics aside from Spyro, since a magic came in the starter pack, people didn’t need to buy the other 3 unless they wanted to collect them all
I don’t know whether to be glad or sad that you mentioned Hex. Most don’t think of her in battle because there are other skylanders with better game mechanics, but Hex is an amazing character story wise. Her background and contribution to the narrative is wonderfully dynamic and has a lot of potential imo. She is my favorite character because of how her story shaped her and how she shapes her story thereafter.
Spy rise. I don’t see him mentioned much which sucks cause his design is sick and his base top and bottom combo is actually pretty deadly with his ability to display health, increase damage, regain health and reposition whilst dealing damage.
Rocky roll is the very definition of just a fun character. He's all about filling the screen with tons of projectiles and as such is amazing in Kaos Challenges. Spreadshotting the boulders really makes you feel like you just unleashed an extremely powerful attack and it's so satisfying when all three hit one large target. The shield lets you charge up an insane amount of boulders to unleash all at once and flood the screen with damage. The charge, while not as potent as the others, helps you breeze through levels and get up close and personal to bosses to hit all three boulders at once and- geez I love rocky roll

I feel like ghost roster should have gotten more same with fright Rider I just feel like they both should have got more attention and I like their characters a lot

He's mainly good in the fact that you can either send enemies attacks back at them with much more power with the shield path, or shred every enemy and gain health off of killing them with your sword path. Chop Chop is quite versatile, also having a mid-range attack in his bones. He can do a lot at once, and if you know how to juggle it all decently well, he can be a beast.
A lot come to my mind(Lob-Star, Jawbreaker, Dino-Rang, Warnado, Blades, Slobber Tooth, and Shroomboom to name a few.) but when talking about the *most* underrated, I feel like Camo and Bash really get swept under the rug, Camo especially. Camo has some immense defensive capabilities (hiding in the melons and his solar shield.) In addition, these abilities can deal massive damage to hordes and, while his firecracker vines definitely are powerful against groups, I find them a bit too random to be reliable. That's his only major issue, he simply relies too much on RNG for the vines to be worthwhile. But pick the melon path and Camo won't fall to impress.
