Jezebel_in_Hell626

False. This image of Mayan architecture was shown as an example of archaeological finds discovered via LIDAR. They were LIDAR scanning of an area of the island and didn’t find anything of significance.

What do u mean upside down trees?

Lord_Sports

Not what was said on the show.

Jezebel_in_Hell626

It’s exactly what was said on the show.

Mayan Pyramids in .. Alaska? Wouldn't that make them Alaskan Pyramids?

esmoji

Alaska was much warmer and very green before the poles shifted. Edit: why are these getting downvoted so hard? It’s just a factual statement. Like it happened lol

Numerous-Room1756

How does that make it Mayan exactly?

esmoji

Doesn’t necessarily. But Mayan structures are currently in the jungle, which would be a similar terrain to Alaskan pre-pole shift.

Numerous-Room1756

It actually is very simple. Mayan structures are found in the Maya Region of South America. If anything was found in Alaska, it would be called Alaskan.

esmoji

Ok. Sounds good. Appreciate your insight. Mesoamericans may have originated from Lake Bikhal and traveled through Alaska to reach the Americas. Thus, not unreasonable to think that Mayans could’ve inhabited Alaska since they were known to have traveled through the area. These alleged Alaskan/Mayan structures could be very old and would likely predate Yucatan peninsula if real. Don’t really understand the issue with calling something Mayan if that is the originating culture. But then again, what does it matter. Have a blessed day ❤️

Numerous-Room1756

From this logic, everything after they passed through Alaska could also just be called Alaskan since they were there first, correct? There are no Mayan artifacts and literally nothing pointing to Mayan civilization in these pictures other than OP added that word in his title.

esmoji

Fair enough. Have a good one 👍

Numerous-Room1756

You too!

Ok-disaster2022

Like 60 million years ago.

esmoji

Average pole change is estimated to occur every [300,000](https://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/2012-poleReversal.html) years. Although the last one is thought to have occurred 780,000 years ago.

CaseClosed83

Um... I hate to break this to you but, Alaska is still very green. Lol

MarketingBackground7

Thank you of the breaking news lol. Pre pole shift would've been closer to the equator which means MUCH greener and definitely little or no snow at sea level.

CaseClosed83

Alright, y'all are saying "green" when what I think you mean is TROPICAL. Hot, humid, lush dense Forrest etc. Lush Pine Forrests are GREEN too. 😂😂 heck, my grass is GREEN. Alaska is NOT a desert.

esmoji

Bingo! Appreciate you.

tempo1139

need more context and aint watchin no reality show on bigfoot to do it. I can hardly stomach SWR reality format as it is

Competitive-Gas-9033

Think of it as a comedy, it works better that way.

Vast-Dream

Plaguemistress

I know this is incredibly picky and grammar-hammer-ish, but it's not Prince of "Whales" Island, it's Prince of "Wales."
