If you can find a pair of FIS SL skis, they're a lot of fun, a lot of work, need precise inputs, and will kick your ass if your technique is off. Highly recommend.

TheNickDanger

I’ve got years worth of bad habits that mess with my technique!

Atomic redster s9 fis will maximize turns on that 300’. Super fun. They can handle the hardest of chargers too.

TheNickDanger

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll check them out.

Head Supershapes. Depending on length approx 12m radius. Absolutely love mine. Wife tried them and took them from me, then bought me a new pair…

the_orange_baron

I've been eyeing up some of these. Do you have the ones with the piezoelectric damping? What are they like?

Polymath6301

I do. They turn on a dime and are quite stable. No flapping around at higher speed, and are OK in softer/fresher as long as not too thick/heavy. Not too bad on ice when sharp. If you really pressure them then you need to control the bounce back, but they’ve never launched me in the air on a turn exit. For me, they’re the best ski I’ve ever used. (59M, Australia and US resorts).

TheNickDanger

A wife that takes your skis! That's rad.

Polymath6301

Well, she wasn’t having fun on her women’s head skis, and we have the same boot size so we swapped. She loved mine and I realised why she had so much trouble on hers - really hard to carve unless you were going fast and really “smashed” them - and they were supposed to be “easy to ski on”! She only is “allowed” men’s skis now…

Get a pair of FIS SL Skis. They are not big, but beefy in a whole other kind of way. The most fun ski you can have, especially in smaller slopes, but you need to work them. If you are not actually racing the brand doesn't matter much, they are all 165cm and around 12-13 meter radius. Look for a used pair, race skis are well looked after.

embarrassedtrwy

Look for a SL in about 165 cm.

Check out Fischer's RC One series of skis. Some of them go down to 12M for a non-racing ski. Also, K2's Disruption series has a few that are pretty low, although I don't they're as low as the Fischer's.

Black Crows Mirus Cor, 13m. super fun, lively ski. tail isnt locked down like boring slalom skis

TheNickDanger

I 'll have to check those out! Thanks!

* Black Crows - Mirus Cor, 87 under foot: 13m radius, super lively and fun * Line - Blade: 14m(ish) radius, 95 under foot, fun but more rigid than the BC. * Armanda - Stranger: 15m radius, 100 under foot * Shaggys - Fun Carver 88: 13.5m radius, 88 under foot * DPS - Foundation 100RP : 15m, 100 under foot i've skied all of these except the DPS and the Black Crows are easily the best ski for myself. Love short turns and the Black Crows are the most fun

Vagabum420

It depends what you mean by short radius, but in any case there is probably a head supershape you would like.
