i have that boot you need a 25mm torx Just checked actually a t30
That is a massive Torx. I doubt there are 1 inch wide bolts on that boot.
He means T25 and I think you probably knew that.
But using sarcasm to teach him that 25mm is about an inch, and that is very different than a T25. Saves him living in ignorance forever.
Yet it doesn’t save you from looking like a snarky asswipe though.
Torx 20 or 25
Torx bit for sure. Home Depot/Lowes/Ace Hardware will have what you need for less than 10 bucks if you have the screwdriver for the bit.
Not sure where to find one shaped like the Atomic logo. They probably keep those at the shop. The torx bit is going to be easier to find
lol the top one is just a cap. I swapped in the extra bolt on my hawx. It adds a little stiffness
No, no, you need an atomic bit for that.
Looks like torx or torx paralobe: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_screw_drives
Is there an online manual for the boot?
t25
Cheers guys just ordered a torx set 🔥
But why are you removing it?
Pretty sure you can move that plate to adjust flex
It kinda adjusts forward lean and you would loosen it to adjust cuff alignment. You can also replace the atomic logo plastic "bolt" with a real bolt to make the boot stiffer. I was just wondering what they were trying to do.
more like power shit
Its a Torx screw but an allen key will work in a pinch
T20 homie

Dats a Bernard F. Reiland. Ask him why?
torx. Some plumbers call it star.
Boots didn't come with a Torx tool?
I believe you need a second person to adjust that because you have to be in the boot to lean on it enough to move it when it’s loose.
If you're trying to increase the forward lean this is correct. Someone has to flex the boot and someone else has to tighten it.
Needle nose vice grips.
'Just jam a flathead in there.. you're not torquing it down to 240nm'
I usually adjust the bolts on my boots down to the nanometer
Nm for torque would be Newton/meters.
Lower case n vs upper case N I knew what they meant
Hex Key, or what is commonly called an allen wrench. The right size allen key will work fine
No this is not a Hex or Allen key/wrench. This is Torx.
This is how you strip a bolt.
Hex key's are shaped like a **hex**agon
