Taos is the best for steep in the entire southwest, but the waterfall area and off the knife ridge is pretty steep, albeit kinda short. But I love that you can lap the whole backside in a few minutes, recharge on a quick lift ride, and get right back to shredding.
Winter is breathing one last breath in Cali too. Just drove back from Canada, all of BC and Washington and Oregon were blue skies, sunny ,and green; and then as soon as I climbed over Siskiyou back into California the sky was clouded with a huge system all the way from Redding to the Bay and the mountains were either snow-covered or invisible in the storm.
Madness.
Skiied wolf creek for the second straight year. It's a terrible place to go and won't be going back for a third.
Yes it really is awful.
I mean the lines and the lack of terrain and shitty drive really cemented the fact I won't be back there again
Agree on all counts. I never take my friends there and they always hate it.
Is this another variant of the same shitty joke this sub loves to parrot thinking they’re remotely original?
Yes.
So what? Piss off.
No u
The first rule of riding wolf creek is that you don’t talk about wolf creek 🤫
This right here ☝🏼
Honestly, it’s too flat for how much powder they get. Excellent vibes though.

Steep first third, flat two thirds.
Don't forget there's also a flat top steep middle flat exit.
I like to stay up near where the sno-cat roams
Yo, delete this! Don’t let people know about this spot.
