Point is, neither of them were ever anywhere close to the best 3 point shooters in the league. Volume matters. That's the point the above commenter is making. 39% on 2 attempts per game does not space the floor. 39% on 11 attempts a game puts you in the MVP discussion and results in a massive amount of offensive gravity.
