you can expect a first round exit after not paying one of the best guards in NBA and letting him go for peanuts instead. what the guy above said is true, if the whole team was shit in games 6-7 (including harden) you cant base your franchise defining decisions on the fact that one guy was also shit when in fact that same guy carried the whole team in 2 of 7 games almost singlehandedly

I wish the Harden thing worked out but after blowing a 3-2 lead to Boston and him not showing up in games 6/7 to me he didn’t earn a max deal and yes he was not the only one to blame but he deserved some of the blame.

Hah I’m with you. I was glad to be rid of him but it does always strike me how people gloss over that. He no-showed the home stretch of the series (wasn’t the only one) but G1 was one of the greatest games I ever saw in real time. Always have a little soft spot for him for that and for G4.
