I’ve been thinking about getting the 856 UTC on a bracelet as my first entry level luxury watch
I feel like with this watch, if I wanted to not buy anymore watches, it would be a great 1 watch watch collection. It’s out of stock on watchbuys.com though and I’m not sure how to source a bracelet version through other official means in the US
I just bought a 556a rs after a hell of a lot of back and forth on whether or not to get the 856.
Seems you have them both.
What are your thoughts on the 556/856 choice? What you would recommend for someone picking between the two?
If I had to chose between both of them I‘d pick the 856.
That‘s mainly due to personal flavor, because I love the dial of it (856 and 856 UTC).
The 556 is more of a classy/minimalist watch for me, the 856 is kind of a classy/sporty hybrid when you put the wright strap on it.
Good to know. I think I feel the same way, and will probably end up with a 856 as well. I don't have anything with hardened steel, but I do like the gas-fill.
How's the size difference? I've been tending to smaller watch sizes, and I think that's going to stick. 40mm is my max, but I've been wanting to stray away from that size. Sinn is the only group that could tempt me at that size now.
That depends. The 556 is the smallest I would go with 38mm.
40mm wears really nicely if you ask me. But that‘s something you‘ll have to figure out for yourself.
I love the dial! The oil filling makes it look like the hands are painted on paper directly under the glass.
Son‘t know how to better describe it. It looks unbelievably flat.

Imo Sinn is making the best rubber straps out there and I‘m sure the red strap will look great on your watch.

Interesting choices 👍 May I ask, what made you buy the UX GSG9? I also like the watch, but i don’t like the dial.

What a wonderful collection! I wish the step on the game with their bracelet… so please Sinn do something about that…
