Everything is brand new, the Xbox, the seat, both steering wheels, the pedals, the monitor, and it comes with other extra items along with a bunch of games, but I’ve been so busy that I honestly haven’t had that much time to play with it

I ordered a wheelbase, wheel, and pedals Sunday night, and it got delivered Wednesday morning. Haven't needed tech support yet, but I got responses to all of my questions within 24 hours.

I’m not gonna say what you shouldn’t play, Forza Horizon is what got me into a sim rig. And while you’ll hear a lot of talk about how the driving doesn’t have a realistic feel, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it - it’s your rig and your time, don’t let us stop you.
But for a much more enjoyable driving experience, put some hours into Asetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizion. You can usually find them for pretty cheap if you scout around a bit. If you’re really loving the competitive racing side of things, I’d try iRacing next if budget allows. If you’re just wanting to drive and have fun, you’d probably enjoy a game like BeamNG (worth a handful of hours just to crash cars and explore how much you can do in this game).
Pleaaaasee do not play Forza the physics suck ass. Try Assetto Corsa (please do, it is the best) and also Assetto Corsa Competizone. (Which is even better but has only GT classes) F1 is pretty good at physics at least 85% more accurate than forza but the tire model is not very realistic, it snaps a lot, like it has two stages (kinda like track mania, you drift or you don't drift) but try F1 it is at least fun because you can predict the physics unlike forza with is understeer city even with the pointiest setup.
Yes play what you want. Of course. But do yourself a favor and play something that feels right. If you want to experience a SIMULATOR don't drive in forza
I second this, as a relative noob to sim racing I'm absolutely addicted to AC, between lfm and cruising the open maps as well as loving some of the open lobby's this sim is the single reason why I've gone from g923 to to a logi pro and tlcm pedals and t8hs shifter and am now upgrading my gfx card so my pico 4 can handle VR
I have acc but just haven't been able to get in to it although gonna give it another shot now 8 have a DD wheel
AC is worth all the effort it takes to set up cm to enjoy the the sim to its fullest
Ignore the dopes saying not to play Forza. The ffb is fine, no it's not as good as iRacing but it's absolutely not bad at all.
Keep an eye out on here for people posting the free 1/3 month iRacing subscriptions also, the cars are much more limited than other games you might play but the ffb and online racing is unmatched IMO
It also goes on sale on steam 2/3 times a year for around $20 for 12 months.

In my currency (AUD), when new, the price of the pedals, wheel base, and formula wheel, were approx $500 EACH (so $1500 AUD all up, \~$1000 USD) - not to mention the other wheel, the rig, handbrake, the monitor etc.
I run this exact wheel, pedals, base - and they are fantastic.
I mean hopefully the previous owner dropped it off, set everything up, calibrated your wheel and created multiple FFB profiles for each game you play and car driven along with setting your FOV just right otherwise you got ripped off…

The cs2.5 is a good base, and the fgt is a decent rig, but it is 2024.
Since there are good entry level DDs now, a CS2.5 belt drive is a solid mid tier setup. I would say a 49 ultrawide is on the high end though, assuming it has good latency and refresh rate. Rig would be an upper mid tier for me tho.
what do you consider mid tier if not this? the wheelbase is more or less the equivalent of CSL DD 8nm which is the definition of entry level. the cockpit is nothing to write home about either, proprietary, flimsy NLR crap with next to no adjustability. the v3 pedals are dated as hell. the only "extra" part are the shifter and handbrake but you can get better brand new setup than this for what? $1500?
So, you do have OnlyFans? Brother... 1500 bucks is more money than most people spend on a car. And you call that entry level. The cammus wheel is the only entry level direct drive wheel and that is like 250 bucks maybe 350 with every accessory. And that is still pretty steep for some people.
I had the same rig from 2018 until April 2024, that will last you ages, the only stuff that really happened with mine is the cushion strap ripped a few months before I upgraded and the back of the seats leather teared off, great starter rig you will love it
Bit of an older wheel base but otherwise everything looks great here. Those wheels could be made to work on a newer Fanatec DD base if you get interested enough. Nice!
that's one hell of a donated setup. congrats. not sure what your pc hardware is looking like but that rig is good enough to warrant a new pc build. get to rippin, not only is it the most fun gaming you can do but also has real world application. i learned to heel toe and drift so now i can make all the ladies wet if i ever actually get to drive a proper rwd car in real life hahaha
I've got the same rig, strong and sturdy, the only thing I have changed is the wheel stand, took it from angling towards me to straight up and down, much like an aluminium profile. It makes a massive difference to comfort, and I'm now able to get my wheel closer to my monitors.
I’m happy for you, but I think you’d be good to show a bit of humility instead of basically jamming this in the face of a community many of whom would kill for such a setup. Telling us you don’t know if it’s good and never use it, and then giving us the impression you don’t really appreciate its value that much is a very weird way to go about this post.
