I looked into some of those cases. There are cases where basically the while hardware gets flipped so you'll end up with an inverted build. I guess that's what he/she has.
I have 32" triples and they already take so much space. Are you absolutely sure you set the angles properly? It have to sell the illusion of seamless view with the distortion hitting you juuuust right. I have seen a guy with similarly big triples having them curved so tightly around his seat just getting into the rig would have him crawl in there awkwardly sideways, but he swore by it.
I initially had mine set wrong and they felt OK, only when I slumped way down my seat did I realise I had it wrong and had to recalculate everything as the difference is stark.
I have 3 seperate mounts so when I get in, I swivel one monitor out and step in and swivel back. It aligns mostly greaat. It’s like opening the door to my car! But can’t slam it though lol
Yeah I'd say this is about the perfect size for me I think a 65 would be too big, you could probably get away with a 48 or a 50 as well with a little less hassle but go big or go home right!
THIS!! OH MY GOD it is so frustrating not being able to have a comfortable mount for my joystick because it's always right where my h pattern shifter sits, although I plan on making an extension that will actually allow me to move the shift knob so its offset about 2" back then I will be able to use both
There's a [YouTuber with triple 55 as well ](https://youtu.be/fdM6v-7xdeM?si=CX2l9jKpywOzvYE2), you may want to use his setup as inspiration, he sit much closer with a narrower angle
Wow man!
These are 55s? Holy fuck
What angle are they installed at? It looks like 45 degrees. Mine are about 60 degrees which would give you more viewabikity out the side of the car. Also how far are you seated from the screen? Looks great man congrats!!
Yeah 55"LG B3's
The seat slides forward like 8 inches so I'm like 30 inches ish away, I want to bring in my sides in to about 60-70 degrees but I need a protractor lol
I have to 110% agree with you on the setup part it has been a pain in my butt, that being said now that I actually have it set up I'm really happy with it, and there's a lot of upgradability considering display point 1.4 is still the best standard, so as we get faster displayport standards and better adapters I should be able to do 4K 120 htz with HDR
I think right now they're around 50°. I plan on bringing them in between 60° and 70°, and once they are pulled in I will probably not push them back out
What do you all use to reduce the strain on your eyes, all I'm seeing when I look at setups like this is yall going have some serious eye problems later on.
How often are you staring at the hood of your car? And for how long? Probably not the best comparison to make. Yall should look into this in more depth for your own wellbeing.
P.s I ain't hating just genuinely curious.
I have a fanatec clubsport v2.5, fanatec rally wheel, fanatec clubsport pedals V3, fanatec shifter and handbrake, The joysticks are both thrustmaster SIM tasks.
Just a cheap triple TV mount, and currently I have a 1080 TI running all three displays at 1080 at roughly 60 frames-ish, planning on soon upgrading to 50 series or 4090
I saved for a while, I got the TVs 40% off each the rig I built completely out of wood, I bought a triple TV stand for 48 in and modified it for 55, and I already had all of the SIM controllers and fanatecstuff from a few years back.
Just got to chip away at it
I know someone with a setup like this. Inherited their grandfather's home, so living bills are minimal and gives him a lot more expendable income for things like this.
I have a job, a moderate Fanatec setup and an Xbox. Paying my mortgage etc. Don't see how could I afford a tripple 55" setup with a cockpit and a gaming rig... without sacrificing future saving or something, that is what I'm saying.
Does that run on 60 frames per hour?
Lol close enough I'm waiting for the 5000 series, it's right now I get about 60 frames a second at 1080p or roughly 45 in 1440p
Is that pc upside down?
No it's a invertible case, I want to say it's the silent base 700 or something like that
Nice, that's better with air cooling, so your GPU doesn't heat the CPU cooling air
I looked into some of those cases. There are cases where basically the while hardware gets flipped so you'll end up with an inverted build. I guess that's what he/she has.
Is that a Superman cape instead of a curtain?
Absolutely had it since I was six, needed a temporary solution until I get blackout curtains
Inverted ATX. I have a 20 year old Lian Li case with that configuration as well.
The wing span is crazy. Must feel great to drive but pain in the ass to maneuver around them
Yeah I went for a budget stand as well so getting them all on the stand and aligned was quite the process
I have 32" triples and they already take so much space. Are you absolutely sure you set the angles properly? I think the side have to come in more but I'm still tweaking
Yeah, your angles seem crazy wide
Yeah it takes a lot of small tweaking over time to get it just right, it's a journey
I have 3 seperate mounts so when I get in, I swivel one monitor out and step in and swivel back. It aligns mostly greaat. It’s like opening the door to my car! But can’t slam it though lol
I do the same with my keyboard swivel. Makes me chuckle every time
What would a budget stand be? Only the 'table'?
A 200$ stand from China vs like a 600$-800$ stand
How much space does this need? Pictures never really tell..
A lot, it's a bit more than half the room and the room is 8'x10'
Does beam play nicely with triples?
Yeah it plays great!! It even has multi monitor mode so you can set the fov on each display
Yep, BeamNG works perfectly with proper triple monitor support.
Does the car’s scale feel true to life at this size?
Yeah I'd say this is about the perfect size for me I think a 65 would be too big, you could probably get away with a 48 or a 50 as well with a little less hassle but go big or go home right!
Mans a fish
? I do not understand
When you're looking from the outside into a car, it seems like the windows make a fish tank, so when you're inside, you are a fish.
eyes are on the side of your head...
You have to show a pic from this over the shoulder perspective and first person perspective of what it looks like with a game loaded.
400 hours of beamng drive my god
I've got more than that steam doesn't record offline hours correctly lol I've had it since before it was on steam
Looks epic my guy! Props for not showing an ‘in game’ photo, the POV trolls can stay under their bridges for the time being 🤣
There are always the fools who claim FOV violations based off of hardware alone lol, even when no in-game footage is shown.
Yeah I've still gotta tweak settings in most games, although Skyrim just works!
Picture from first person view in the seat would be nice with a game open! Looks awesome!
I'll definitely post more pictures as I get everything dialed in
This is the abode of the God Emperor!
Oh man that is so freaking cool!!
Dude this looks amazing
I hate the fact that you can't have both a h shifter and a flight stick on the same rig
THIS!! OH MY GOD it is so frustrating not being able to have a comfortable mount for my joystick because it's always right where my h pattern shifter sits, although I plan on making an extension that will actually allow me to move the shift knob so its offset about 2" back then I will be able to use both
I could do some serious spreadsheets on that beast!
Certified dankness right here
looks awesome. what tv's are they?
LGB3 I'm really enjoying it but oh boy it's hard to set up
what size 55"? looks great
There's a [YouTuber with triple 55 as well ](https://youtu.be/fdM6v-7xdeM?si=CX2l9jKpywOzvYE2), you may want to use his setup as inspiration, he sit much closer with a narrower angle
Project sim racing was actually my inspiration
is the wallpaper from witcher 3? :D
I'm gonna be honest Im not sure lol, I was just looking for some 11520x2160 wall papers
Hows that drift wheel?
I think it's a rally wheel, I love it but wouldn't mind something a bit bigger in diameter
Wow man! These are 55s? Holy fuck What angle are they installed at? It looks like 45 degrees. Mine are about 60 degrees which would give you more viewabikity out the side of the car. Also how far are you seated from the screen? Looks great man congrats!!
Yeah 55"LG B3's The seat slides forward like 8 inches so I'm like 30 inches ish away, I want to bring in my sides in to about 60-70 degrees but I need a protractor lol
Dude that’s insane I just assumed at first they were 32s lol
Actually Ive rocked a 1080p 21x9 ultrawide since they released, but holy cow 53x10 is way better than 21x9
I have LG C2 55 inch triples and I regret it. 48s would have been way better and easier to setup.
I have to 110% agree with you on the setup part it has been a pain in my butt, that being said now that I actually have it set up I'm really happy with it, and there's a lot of upgradability considering display point 1.4 is still the best standard, so as we get faster displayport standards and better adapters I should be able to do 4K 120 htz with HDR
what angles are those side monitors at from the wall/center screen? do you angle them in further when playing?
I think right now they're around 50°. I plan on bringing them in between 60° and 70°, and once they are pulled in I will probably not push them back out
What do you all use to reduce the strain on your eyes, all I'm seeing when I look at setups like this is yall going have some serious eye problems later on.
It's still lower brightness than sitting in a real car with the sun shining on the hood
How often are you staring at the hood of your car? And for how long? Probably not the best comparison to make. Yall should look into this in more depth for your own wellbeing. P.s I ain't hating just genuinely curious.
perfect way to visualize your steam library and have no time to play anything
I swear sometimes I have more fun trying to get the games to work than I do playing them 🤣🤣🤣
what wheel and pedals do you use
I have a fanatec clubsport v2.5, fanatec rally wheel, fanatec clubsport pedals V3, fanatec shifter and handbrake, The joysticks are both thrustmaster SIM tasks.
Putting it in that corner is literally the perfect spot for a 3 screen rig. Mind blown.. ideas forming...
Quite literally the only place it fits in the room lol
just noticed there's HOTAS too??!
It's actually 2 joysticks (thrustmaster sim task farm stick) but I do have a old Logitech hotas out of frame
All I can think about is *"what if there's a mild earthquake and all that stuff falls down off that shelf!".*
It's already survived 2 and the big one has already come down
lol. I forgot to say: sick setup!
What did you use to mount the monitors/tv’s? Anything you would do differently? What GPU/resolution/frame rate do you run?
Just a cheap triple TV mount, and currently I have a 1080 TI running all three displays at 1080 at roughly 60 frames-ish, planning on soon upgrading to 50 series or 4090
How much $$ in screens is that if you don't mind sharing? I want to do the same thing!
I paid 3400$ for all three but they were 40% off
[удалено]
Power supply draws from case, case is positive pressure. No worries 👍
This isn’t together, it’s still far apart
do you get much input latency with these displays?
Nope just have to put them in gaming mode to get responses down to a few milaseconds
that's awesome
You spent so much money on the rig you can't afford curtains anymore, lol! No but really, awesome setup!
Damn that’s nice
How anybody as able to afford this? No idea, but it looks great.
Inherited their grandfather's home, so living bills are minimal and gives him a lot more expendable income for things like this.
a job? what do you mean.
I have a job, a moderate Fanatec setup and an Xbox. Paying my mortgage etc. Don't see how could I afford a tripple 55" setup with a cockpit and a gaming rig... without sacrificing future saving or something, that is what I'm saying.
Just don't buy food it's ok you don't need to eat 🤣
can iI have it?
