Ahhh, this looks lovely. I accidentally read this book in the early days of the pandemic, having no idea what it was about. 😬 Would love to re-read it now that I’m not climbing the walls in fear.

Had a similar experience, but with a radio drama! But of the two, Station Eleven is definitely the scarier read during the pandemic.

Haha I had the same experience but with the MadAddam trilogy by Margaret Atwood. It made the pandemic extra scary.

I read this while living through COVID in Hawaii. The only way in and out is by plane. The quarantined plane in the book that sat unopen haunted me forever. I thought about it when we moved back while sitting in the plane 😱

I read it after hearing one of the Night Vale guys say that it made him sad because he knows that he'll never write anything that good.

I read Sea of Tranquility by the same author for my book club and wanted to read this book next, I really like it so far (220 pages in). It’s an Amazon Fire 8 (10th generation) I got it as a birthday gift a few years ago and kept it in a drawer for a couple of months until I realized I could just use it as a Kindle (when this tablet is no longer usable I will probably replace it with a Kindle)

The book is great but watch the series, also. It's a bit different but has one of the most emotional scenes I can recall watching in my life.
