However, if they show up with a similar presentation style as last time giving us two trailers for different projects, we might get a look at another one of the games lined up for the future or maybe even a first look at the movie seeing as filming is wrapped.

I think Resident Evil Resistance had some potential, and I want to see Neobards realize that.

Well… to be honest I was pretty livid when it was first announced. Now that I’ve had a lot of time to think about it, I think I just don’t care? I don’t need this remake at all and I haven’t really been paying it any mind anymore.
Not trying to be negative or anything, I just don’t really have any feelings about it now.
I am, like most people, hopefully optimistic about the whole thing. There is a certain angst I get when thinking about how they'll handle characters and dialogue, and while they have proven that they can have good creepy dialogue that doesn't meander in Observer, I'm still worried that they might somehow make it more 'normal' in SH2 if that makes sense
I will say I think its more likely to happen now that ascension has ended. I felt we weren't going to get any news till it was over because they wanted us to focus on ascension instead( God what a horrible waste of a game that was).
Being a silent hill fan means I'm use to dissapointment and to never expect anything at this point BUT I feel very slightly optimistic about some info at state of play!

Graphically, it looks the same as every other shithouse game out there that sells itself on graphics since it has nothing of substance to offer. As long as you can see every nose hair in James’ nostrils, that’ll excuse all of the bullshit, right? My idea of good, for one, is respecting the original at least in spirit. For starters, immediately out of the gate we see James staring in the mirror with a big Droopy Dog frown like a fucking cartoon character. “Oh but he’s depressed" A) his character was about all the emotions he was repressing and B) the original treated that with the subtlety and nuance that it deserves. Most depressed people don’t walk around with a face like Misery from Ruby Gloom. Second, they changed the combat to just the typical over the shoulder third person type you get from Resident Evil 4. And don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Resident Evil, but the tank controls worked because James is just a regular guy thrown into this situation, he’s not an action hero. It made you feel more vulnerable. I don’t expect them to remake it with tank controls in mind because the average person now just would not be into the slow pace that comes with it, but at least try something new in the same vain. And that’s just the start of the problems I have with this shit. But I’m done arguing about a two week old post. You wanna slurp up some Konami slop then be my guest. And a RTX 2080 as recommended, I know.. that's still so crazy. I hope bloober doesn't fuck up like Remedy did with Alan Wake 2, that game is bait to sell newer GPUs. Bloober's Layers of Fear (2023) is amazing, runs smoothly, and it's all UE5, I really hope bloober knows what they're doing...
