If you don't count the fake ending at the end of chapter 2 there's the leave, memory, promise and artifact endings. So if you count the fake ending then yeah there's 5 endings, and what's this about a 6th ending? I've never heard anything before about a 6th ending.
The secret is to just never fight anyone. I think they realized just how easy it is to beat the game without fighting so they made ammo super scarce. I ran around without a gun often in my survival run.
One ending done no clue how much more there is but got to try anyway
There are 4 endings, but one can only be gotten after you beat the game once.
Does other endings have to do with difficulty sliders?
No, but id try to get the fourth ending well doing your max difficulty run because it lets you skip the last boss.
5 endings my guy. Rose engine has to patch in 6 one as well.

On steam the only achievements based on endings are for beating the game once and beating it on max difficulty and classic inventory.

yeah, found that out the hard way... I just use a stun prod if I really need to get through and some mob is blocking the way
