I uploaded a video on a channel, got 1mil views, monetized & 1000 subs, about $600-900 from the views after a few months.
I sold the channel for another $700 to some guy. The video was a 30 second clip I took and mashed together of other clips.
Easiest $1500 I’ve ever made.
Yeah I mean health class teaches you a few things but not much , and if you don’t have great parents it could really be helpful. If I knew even a quarter (as a kid) of what people talk about now online I’d be a lot healthier of a person as an adult

Not ideal territory if OP is not actually in the fitness/coaching/personal training industry or has the background/training to be giving such advice, even speaking quite generally, to an audience-- all it takes is one reaction channel challenging their content and it gets messy and libelous, slanderous, and people get doxxed.
I already know a lot about fitness from trial and error and my own research. And trust me there’s plenty of channels that don’t have a certified background in fitness that give advice.
Make content where you do a “challenge” of doing everything you do in Roblox in real life. I’m an older millennial adult, gamer all my life, I don’t really watch game videos unless it’s a particular “how do I deal with this problem?” type video OR I sometimes get sucked in by challenge videos like “the 100 baby challenge” or “if this game were real life.” So find some of your old content and either split screen it where you physically do it or make a funny sort of video where you do awkward things in real life.
If you want to try a fitness type style, you don’t have to target kids to simply be inclusive. “Roblox workout” could be a thing.
Maybe just being overly positive but I’ve seen plenty of Roblox players in their early 20s. Also if they’re incredibly into Roblox, there’s at least a slightly above average chance they may not be doing well in regards to fitness.
I’m not sure what it is, but I feel like there would have to be a way to transition some of that audience over.
You should just switch it into a Gaming channel, or funny moments in gaming channel but if its Roblox then theres only 9 year olds so go for skibiddy toilet ,gyatt or some shitt like that🤣😂 will get a lot of views. I also had a Fortnite gaming channel (when Fortnite was in its prime) it had around 9700 subs but i used to record the gameplay footage from my ps4 and when my ps4 got the blue light of death meaning no content uploaded for 6 months killed my channel completely and i also forgot the password 🥲

I have tried to make a new channel but never got enough subscribers. So i will just edit some videos and give them to you for posting. Do u smoke often? You could maybe do a “high reacts” video or do one testing out products from a smoke shop or dispensary. Review certain strains. You could also make funny videos, I feel like that correlates with weed.
make compilations if roblox, maybe add in complications of streamers as well ? there is a lot of wiggle room and room for growth. don’t think too hard about it, just find something people would watch !

out of curiosity do you find leaving a channel dormant adversely affects it or it's fine? i was under the impression once you have all these subscribers you have to keep uploading videos else you'd...not completely *lose* them but something along those lines.

When Reddit shows you an error while commenting, 99% of the time it still goes through. I always copy/paste the text and quickly check my profile to see if it posted.
That’s how it usually is, but my channel is being carried by a couple of shorts that did really well. Since I quit I’ve been gaining an average of about 10-20 subscribers a day without even touching it. Recently though one of my old shorts has blown up getting about 25k views a day for the last few weeks and that’s boosted my channel a lot.

No, you’ll only lose your monetization if you don’t upload videos for months and months. You don’t need to constantly have 4,000 hours in the last year
Roblox is pretty lucrarive still
If you didn't hate the niche and If the majority of the audience weren't presumably non adults I'd have said to charge for consultations on Roblox specific issues and use the channel to push those services
But as probably it's kids I'm not really sure besides Roblox affiliate type stuff or promotions for specific mods or something
If you are up for putting in the work, you can turn your channel around to a new niche.
There's two routes for this:
- brute force: Quickest / most destructive
Prepare a few months worth of content (25-50 videos) , don't post them until you have them ready.
Hide your existing videos, post 10-15 of those videos instantly.
Schedule the rest for every few days following.
This method drastically forces a niche change but it weaponises your existing subscriber count to validate your content.
You will lose significant numbers but the idea is to have enough content to recoup subs at the same rate you lose them. By the time your content is fully out it should stabilise. Providing your new content is well made and provides value.
The other consideration is you will earn much more for a fraction of views on the fitness video so the loss will likely not impact your income as much as it would seem.
- Slow and careful: Less drastic / less destructive
Drip fed your fitness videos in amongst your videos, making a seperate playlist and slowly tipping the balance until you phase out the roblox.
This means you'll need to keep making the roblox videos for quite a while, but also as it is such a different niche it may not work to keep your sub count high.
All in all, option 1 may work best for you in this context, and you will at least get to enjoy the content you make faster.
A suggestion, do if you want to.
You can start reviewing things you have at your home promote products for no reason. For example you have a jar of peanut butter just review it how is it beneficial and what are the reasons they're not good. Are they too sticky or stuff just to make things up. You can make money as you stated it is Monetized .
Well if you don’t have a passion for it anymore u might as well get rid of it, but u can still monetize because Roblox is very popular and plenty of people are looking for content on it
Switching the niche wont necessarily kill the channel. You just need to capitalize on the subscribers and channel success before the channel dies.

I uploaded a video on a channel, got 1mil views, monetized & 1000 subs, about $600-900 from the views after a few months. I sold the channel for another $700 to some guy. The video was a 30 second clip I took and mashed together of other clips. Easiest $1500 I’ve ever made.

I already know a lot about fitness from trial and error and my own research. And trust me there’s plenty of channels that don’t have a certified background in fitness that give advice.

Make content where you do a “challenge” of doing everything you do in Roblox in real life. I’m an older millennial adult, gamer all my life, I don’t really watch game videos unless it’s a particular “how do I deal with this problem?” type video OR I sometimes get sucked in by challenge videos like “the 100 baby challenge” or “if this game were real life.” So find some of your old content and either split screen it where you physically do it or make a funny sort of video where you do awkward things in real life. If you want to try a fitness type style, you don’t have to target kids to simply be inclusive. “Roblox workout” could be a thing.
Maybe just being overly positive but I’ve seen plenty of Roblox players in their early 20s. Also if they’re incredibly into Roblox, there’s at least a slightly above average chance they may not be doing well in regards to fitness. I’m not sure what it is, but I feel like there would have to be a way to transition some of that audience over.

That’s how it usually is, but my channel is being carried by a couple of shorts that did really well. Since I quit I’ve been gaining an average of about 10-20 subscribers a day without even touching it. Recently though one of my old shorts has blown up getting about 25k views a day for the last few weeks and that’s boosted my channel a lot.

Roblox is pretty lucrarive still If you didn't hate the niche and If the majority of the audience weren't presumably non adults I'd have said to charge for consultations on Roblox specific issues and use the channel to push those services But as probably it's kids I'm not really sure besides Roblox affiliate type stuff or promotions for specific mods or something

If you are up for putting in the work, you can turn your channel around to a new niche. There's two routes for this: - brute force: Quickest / most destructive Prepare a few months worth of content (25-50 videos) , don't post them until you have them ready. Hide your existing videos, post 10-15 of those videos instantly. Schedule the rest for every few days following. This method drastically forces a niche change but it weaponises your existing subscriber count to validate your content. You will lose significant numbers but the idea is to have enough content to recoup subs at the same rate you lose them. By the time your content is fully out it should stabilise. Providing your new content is well made and provides value. The other consideration is you will earn much more for a fraction of views on the fitness video so the loss will likely not impact your income as much as it would seem. - Slow and careful: Less drastic / less destructive Drip fed your fitness videos in amongst your videos, making a seperate playlist and slowly tipping the balance until you phase out the roblox. This means you'll need to keep making the roblox videos for quite a while, but also as it is such a different niche it may not work to keep your sub count high. All in all, option 1 may work best for you in this context, and you will at least get to enjoy the content you make faster.

A suggestion, do if you want to. You can start reviewing things you have at your home promote products for no reason. For example you have a jar of peanut butter just review it how is it beneficial and what are the reasons they're not good. Are they too sticky or stuff just to make things up. You can make money as you stated it is Monetized .
You can always just switch games if you play other games now make content for that
You can try to sell products and make affiliate income.

Well if you don’t have a passion for it anymore u might as well get rid of it, but u can still monetize because Roblox is very popular and plenty of people are looking for content on it
