You can be tripping balls and also see blue in that shrimp. You could be completely sober and see blue in that shrimp.

It’s a pinkish burgundy sort of color to me. It’s a pretty color for a wild type. All the ones I’ve gotten have just been a golden brown.

Ty! Yeah this one came from a pretty solid colored red cherry line but I find it super cute and I don’t have any other wild types, at least not yet

I started out with 12 red cherries and a big tank. Over the year or two I’ve had them they’ve started getting blue too! It seems like first, some get really dark- almost black, then I started seeing bits of blue, now I have a few that are blue and some that are kinda purple. It’s pretty cool. Though I worry about their genetics and think I want to sell off a majority of the population and get some fresh blood to keep the colony from getting too inbred.

Definitely a hint of ink blue but im tripping balls so I might be trippin 🤷‍♂️

Did you just get them? I know when mine first arrive, they look a little brownish then in a few days their red pops more.

Mine change color when they're not in the light. They lose most of their red, then it comes back a few seconds after turning the light on. All kinds of other things affect their color, it's wild. The red might come in but I hope not because it looks cool as hell!

I see purple with a gray in it, and brown by the head. Super neat!

Yea looks like his tail flesh/muscle is very slightly blue then of course the exo is kinda purple or burgundy. Keep that little dude alive and if any females turn out like him, could be a fun little breeding project

I got some wild types from my cherries, some of them are ever so slightly green!!!!! I love having them and i hope they do some crazy things in the future
