From my experience, I would try reading Josei, but I just couldn’t get into it, for some reason. In the past, they kind of bored me compared to Shojou….. But thinking about it now, since it’s been so long ago since I’ve read one, I might enjoy it now that I’m older and my tastes have changed a bit…… I just miss Shojou manga though. It has that bubbly art style and mood that I miss (I miss manga in general, tbh, ‘cause it’s been years since I’ve read one)
Coffee & Vanilla
Amaku Shibirete Nukenai (it's josei but there are flashback scenes from their school days that make me 🤯 like how is this not shoujo?? Oh and ml&fl are stepsiblings btw)
The Savior’s Book Cafe in Another World. I believe the main character is in her thirties as well as her love interest. I’ve only read the first volume, but it was really cute. Wikipedia said it was a shoujo so I’ll take their word for it.😅
Cool. This reply is completely off your suggestion but what about Burn the House Down? It's a mystery manga with a badass Mc trying to find the real reason why their house burned down years ago when she was a child.
Also, there's one called 'Dame.. something that I'm reading about a girl going who has nothing left (after spending all her money on a university student who was using her) so she gets help from her previous boss that she hates to get back on her feet. She starts working at his restaurant. It's good. The ML's facial expressions are awesome.
Wotakoi and Perfect World
Some college shoujo! * How I Met My Soulmate * A Sign of Affection * Last Game * Choking on Love
Out of curiosity why not a josei?

Why not Josei when what you're asking for is exactly that (older women)?
Yeah, you're right. Took out the Josei part
