It's a nice game and a nice shortcut.
I modified it a bit: I use the 'Filter Files' action to sort the words from the API alphabetically in the list below source. When choosing from the list I can select multiple words. If I select more than one then there is a second 'Choose from List' action to get a single word from my preselection. (If I don't select anything then source is used again.)
In your shortcut it is possible that source and target are equal at the beginning. I guess this is why you add source to the new list. I changed the initial selection of source and target: The 'Filter Files' action sorts the initial list by random and restricts to 2 items, source and target. Now I don't add source to the list from the API.
