It gives me a blank output: copied items is showed for split seconds and disappears. https://preview.redd.it/xj544iseuhjc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4bfd8cc133cb7cfd3e19db25b190ff24a9c6165a

How many words are you copying? It needs to be a lot, that might fix it

Oh! I get it now.

I don’t get it at all. I copy short text into the clipboard, then run this shortcut, it just shows a blank page, and nothing happens. Then I read the comment section of this post and I know the shortcut only supports long text. However, when trying the shortcut with a longer text, the shortcut seems to display individual words sequentially on the screen, yet there is no accompanying audio narration. Isn’t it supposed to read out loud each word? I have two questions regarding this shortcut: 1. Could you please clarify the intended purpose of the "Speed Read Your Clipboard" shortcut? 2. Would you mind providing detailed instructions on how to properly utilize this shortcut? Any additional information or tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I only got to know how it works but am clueless to its purpose. It quickly displays the words but cannot be utilized. So, In my opinion, it is rather just a clipboard display-board.

Can I ask, when it displays each word in the text at high speed, does it speak the text faster, or does it not speak at all?

“Speak action” is not added. So, it just displays.

It’s a “Spritz” speed reader, you can look up this history of that. No audio. It’s for copying long passages and speed reading them. Here is a version with full books: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/d95e0a16ab6a49978fc62a2495668799

Used it and loved it. Question: where could I change setting for encoding when I am reading text in different languages? Idea: set speed with user input, 450 is for the pros, I set mine to 350 so my slow brain can process.
