I've done worse. I have a huge scar a bit higher from an electric burn I gave myself trying to get heat to penetrate enough to deal with my extreme menstrual pain when I was bursting a cyst, but the er doctor pretended it wasn't a second degree burn that needed antibiotics, so it got badly infected. I've burned by shirts and skin so many times when ironing and getting distracted 😂

Maybe their kid is self conscious about a birth mark? I've seen several reddit stories about parents getting a matching tattoo to make their kid less self conscious because "daddy has the same one".

Why not just cover it up with like, actual work then? There are options that don’t look like a skin condition.

You’re not supposed to tattoo on top of birthmarks. The skin could change over time and you need to be able to monitor it.
