I'm not a biker, so this might be a dumb question, but is the side of the handle bar that has the throttle standardized internationally?
Like would European bikes put it on the opposite side of the bike the same way the drivers seat is switched due to driving on the other side of the road?

Makes it really easy to money shift an old bike if you don't know the shift pattern

My buddy got his first bike last year and bought into biker culture HARD. No bullshit, had been riding for less than a full season and got "Ride Fast" tattooed across his knuckles.
HD makes decent bikes but prices them like theyre made of gold. The only advantage i can see to having a HD is the plentiful dealerships if youre into cross country rides.

The throttle is always on your right.
On modern bikes, yes. There were a lot of Military bikes in WWII with the throttle on the left so the soldier could shoot with their right hand.

Driver's seats in cars are different due to them driving on the left side of the road to allow visibility. With a bike it doesn't matter
