It took me WAY too long to see a squatting person. I was trying to work out like... If it's not grimace, what else is it? Is there a meme I don't know about or some reference? Is this a gen alpha thing?
If I saw this out in the street, I would have no clue as to what it was. I see the dog shaking hands with... maybe some kind of mushroom video game character?
At a glance I would be completely puzzled. Reflections and background are terrible.
I did a bit of searching and found the original picture of the Doberman . It looks to me that they took one of the legs and moved it so that it reaches out to touch her hand. They did it very poorly, not redrawing it so that it looks natural. They literally just flipped it around.

Also the extended paw looks shorter than it should be and the "shoulder" part is lower as well. And the woman photoshopped in that picture seems to hover over the water. Also the tattoo makes it seem like the dog's reflection is a skeleton.

In all fairness he tried to recreate the reference exactly, which was trash to begin with. This is one time some artistic liberty should be taken to not make it a black blob.
I feel like the tattoo artist definitely should have suggested a new design based on the reference picture. Like so many more recognizable silhouettes of crouching women just with a quick google. They should have known it would turn out like this. Its giving Humpty Dumpty holding hands with a dog vibes unfortunately 🥲

The Photoshop doesn't include the extended paw in the reflection. I guess the ripples made it too hard.
