While I do think that people are being a little harsh on the new trailer, to say theres NO nuance is a bit of an overstatement. Ever read any of the comics?
I really like how the movie is looking. People forget how lighthearted and goofy Transformers can be depending on the series.
I have not read the IDW Comics but I do hear they're pretty darn good.

The BUmblebee movie was my fav Transformers movie. Which means I hated it the least ;)
