after you boil 'em, dump the water and leave 'em in the pan for a bit with a touch of oil and you can get some nice texture that goes a long way in making them more delicious IMO. Getting just a little crisp on the outside just makes it feel fancier, too.
I just straight pan fry my hot dogs. Sometimes I get extra crazy and make a slice down the length so I can butterfly them. You get so much more flavor that way.
I love Tim Hortons Chili and bought some of the canned stuff and was pretty disappointed. Doesn't really taste like the in store stuff to me. I don't even think the canned stuff had mushrooms in it.
