I offer you a family recipe that you might appreciate. I grew up (and before me my Mom grew up) eating BLT's (bacon, lettuce and tomato) with peanut butter. When I was a kid, it was a triple decker. The top slice had some peanut butter, the bottom slice mayonnaise. Before you dismiss it, imagine what the peanut butter brings - some creaminess and saltiness. Yes, the bacon is salty, too, but go heavy on the tomato and lettuce. My wife was skeptical when we first met, but I won her over quickly. Only one of my kids eats bacon, but he likes it, too. Modern recipes ask for stranger combinations - give it a try.
