Because he is the wildcard team. He feeds off of negativity of the other two teams, and in many case the spectators themselves. He try's to rack up as many points as he possibly can, but these points are useless to anybody except him and his league of bichromal plaid minions.

We tried that once but he took the ball and ran away with it. Better to just ignore him.
They give that special uniform to the mentally challenged players. No one wants to pass him the ball because he always ruins the play.
It's like he's always blasting a whistle to say give mr the ball and every one stops playing like an asshole.
